I'm not so sure the U.S. real estate scene is on anything like the road to recovery.
In fact, when the next wave of variable rate 3, 5, 7 year mortgages re-cast, at a presumably much higher rate...a foreclosure frenzy may well ensue that makes the current one pale by comparison.
We are in a trough before the storm.
Seems Don is spot on with a bullish view of UUP and such, for the current trend ought to see more attraction to the dollar.
Wonder whether it will soon enough be 1 to 1 on the Euro?. (even if the dollar weaken later)

I really believe that when the government stimulis for home purchase program ends (soon) that sales of lower priced homes will lessen greatly & sales to the upgrade side will lessen as well, since the potential upgrade home buyer will likewise have fewer buyers (without those taxpayer gifts) for their current unit.
