  • Why Berkshire Hathaway Will Underperform In The Long Run [View article]
Berkshire Hathaway buys cheap stocks in cheap sectors - financials are very cheap right now in historical comparison. Buffett never bought technology stocks. Last time when people urged him to buy technology stocks it was the winter of 99. We all know what followed...

    From Pumps&Dumps.com:

Still laughing -yep laughing- at those who still don't understand that the penny markets and especially this latest "dot bong" boom are all a scam. We estimate that a cool $125 million of retail investor money was put into limbo with yesterday's trading trading suspension in PHOT. The absurdity of a company that sells nothing but garden equipment and has $5 million in assets against $11 million liabilities, with a fully diluted market cap of over a billion dollars -just because it pretends to be in an industry that does not legally exist- has us saying to those that got caught: "Serves you right".

  • Independence Energy Corp. (OTC: IDNG) Bust Or Boom [View instapost]
"The Company expects that shareholders holding common shares at registered brokerage firms will have this forward split transaction processed automatically in their accounts over the NEXT FEW DAYS." Perfect time for the instigators to dump shares because some of the naive longs are trapped and aren´t able to sell their shares at the moment. So, nobody can realise gains and the instigators can sell their shares unhurriedly to new buyers.

Nice analysis, but misses one important point: This is a no growth company, quite the contrary: Revenue 2011 33 Mio. $; 2012 28 Mio. $; 2013 22 Mio. $. 2014 rev estimate 22,8 Mio. $, or did they guide higher in the conference call? And the big market opportunities you mentioned are rather vague.

It´s PWEID now. Still climbing, but yesterday with intraday reversal. Not sure if shares from the forward split are already delivered. No position at the moment. No shares available to short.

Walmart Symbol is wrong; must be WMT. Just stumbled upon, when I looked for Western Alliance Bank (WAL).

The only way to protect against losses is not to buy these kind of stocks. I`m still short IDNGD at 0,076$ (sometimes two weeks of holidays without internet helps to be patient :-).

I couldn´t care less if you like me or not. Took a few long @0,58 and probably will sell them today again. If this turd should climb over a dollar, I would re-short for sure if possible.
So, what about your position? Are you really a long or just a paid pumper? What´s your price target?

Just risk/reward ratio, if you are for example 1.000 shares short from 2,00 and the stock falls to 0,60, you can realize profits of 1.400$ but have a maximum of 600$ in further profits left, so at some point the risk/reward ratio just gets too bad.
The other point: Short-term oversold condition, rebound after huge fall is probable. Stocks seldom go down from 2,00 to 0,10 without bouncing.
Funny again, that I have to defend my trading style after realizing a huge gain. Where have all the (pseudo)bulls gone, which were obviously wrong big time?

Bought back the rest @0,695. Short-term oversold. Would be on the short side again above 1,00$.

"Worth noting is that Richard Granville, CEO if Yippy, issued a press release mid-day stating that he had arrived in New York to personally look into the extreme short-selling that has been taking place on YIPI stock." --> LOL, where does he look exactly for the evil short sellers in New York? Times Square or some obscurer places? Perhaps he would be better off searching for some investors, which pump some money in his business...
@HIS MONEY: BA Insight, as always there are no numbers given as far as possible revenues from the partnership are concerned. As always: Nice words, no substance...

Probably they just had no better option how they are able to make money out of their business. Nobody knows if these other 2 comanies ever made money...
Perhaps were some links between the companies before.
You never know, but I know that YIPI has to bring evidence of profitability, it´s not the other way round. They earned not a single penny until today...
