  • 5+1 Reasons Microsoft Will Offer Great Returns [View article]
No kidding. Looks like Steve would be here for long and in my opinion he is doing good. People having problems with Steve should looks how growth has been doubled during his tenture and at the end of day who is asking to stick with MSFT. reduce or sell all if you don't like MSFT. Whats a big deal LOL

  • Nokia (NOK -2.7%) ticks lower following a downgrade to Underweight from Barclays' Jeff Kvaal: he argues "neither Lumia nor Windows Phone has reached critical mass," and claims "CES checks showed few signs WP8’s promise is converting to sustained demand." Moreover, Kvaal believes Nokia, which expects to report 4.4M Lumia sales for a supply-constrained Q4, will need to sell 10M-12M Lumias/quarter for its Smart Devices ops to break even, assuming a €225 ASP, 20% gross margin, and €2B in opex. (April downgrade[View news story]
LOL lets not be fooled by few analysts. Keep 'em watching to come with whatever -ve. Isnot this same NOK that was not supoose to even reach 2.7 and have already beaten the yearly target. 4.4 vs 10 to 12 only 2013 can tell us.

  • Nokia's Shares Are Benefiting From Irrational Exuberance [View article]
guys it is clearly writer is biased.

GS had truck loads of NOK
MS has doubled there stocks in NOK
needless to say how many were also part of the load.

if these financial institutions are piling up NOK, who are biased writers to recommend sell.

remember Buffett who clearly says don't sell.. stick tight it would go past 10+. all appl fans have to deal with NOK now.lol

  • More on Nokia: Lumia shipments totaled 4.4M, up from Q3's 2.9M and generally above forecasts. Stephen Elop says Lumia 920 sales were supply-constrained. Total smart devices sales were 6.6M, -64% Y/Y (withering Symbian base), but thanks to a higher Lumia mix, ASP jumped to €182 from Q3's €155. Mobile phone units were 79.6M, -15% Y/Y, ASP roughly even Q/Q at €31. 9.3M Asha phones sold, up from 6.5M in Q3. NOK +17.6%. (PR[View news story]

  • 2012 Breakthroughs In Cell Therapy Development [View article]
Guys I think Brian is trying to share and help us with his thoughts. I have been reading closely what Brian writes and I have to admit guy simply made me money (if not all of us). I do value his opinion and I think he is not forcing any of us to listen. Its a thought which could go well left or right but honestly I see value and facts that he tries to bring in his articles. I am hoping no one would get personal here and thanks Brian for continued valuable articles.

    Thanks everyone

  • Microsoft Seems Ripe For Continued Pain [View article]
I think MSFT would explode. They have all tools ready to begin.

    Windows Phones eco system
Win 7 , Win 8 (enterprise are still on XP so either one would get money)
Tablets (surface or competitor either way would help)
    XBOX - Living Rooms
    Office 365
    Skype Integration

  • Research In Motion (RIMM) is paying Nokia (NOK) a one-time fee of €50M ($65M) as part of the companies' patent settlement, RIM disclosed in a 6-K. RIM is also making ongoing royalty payments as part of the deal, which covers the use of Nokia's Wi-Fi patents. [View news story]
NOK must be enjoying patient suite they have. Either way even if RIM outsold devices or Samsung, they would continue to reap royalty payments. good luck NOK

  • Windows 8 (MSFT) is being adopted at a slower rate than the much-maligned Vista, and a much slower rate than Windows 7, according to usage data from Net Applications. As of Dec. 22, Win. 8 was used on an estimated 1.6% of all Windows PCs. This compares with 2.2% for Vista at a similar point in its release history, and 6%+ for Win. 7. Consumer PC demand remains tepid, and many enterprises have made it clear they have no interest in upgrading to Win. 8, at least for now. [View news story]
msft need to have NOK do well. enterprise would upgrade to win7 rather win8 for now. overall if phones do well for MSFT overall reputation would be great and business would start noticing new OS that would be same everywhere. i think dust would settle but would take 2013. over all MSFT is going to clawback there is nothing wrong i see just matter of time . imagine how long it took for msft to break XP magic spell.. win 8 is not vista and i am confident it would pick it up eventually. till then xbox, nok, windows phones, office has to pump up revenue for msft.

  • 4 Reasons Windows 8 Will End Apple's Market Share Growth - And Why Apple Shouldn't Care [View article]
i dont agree with analysis however being a seasoned it professional and having good knowledge of corporate world, i can see win 8 is making inroads. it would be a slow process but 2014 would be good for msft. Apple has done a great job but it is clear they are getting behind now.

Ipad and iPhones are great toys but there are many more and better available now. so there is still a time to take profit but hand in there with MSFT. this company always comes back but with more power. who am i or us ONLY time will tell us.
