I have to agree with RPG that developers would be more interested in developing an application that runs on many phones than on only one, even if that one is iphone. Look at the number of Microsoft applications for pc's versus the number for the Macintosh.

Although those who put up money for condo down payments lost it all, Donald seemed to come out with his reputation relatively unscathed. He even said he was trying to find another builder to finish the project (although nothing ever came of that). As you say, he is a master of managing his image.
