If I read Turk's explanation correctly a member can only transfer gold to or receive gold from another member. that's very limiting to the user of gold to pay a bill unless millions of accounts exist. How many accounts are there now?
As to CEF, it sells sat a premium most of the time.When it's zero or negative BUY and then get a booster gain when it goes positive again.

When it comes to money and precious metals trust no one esp financial organizations that deal in make believe substitutes. Think like sub-prime paper!
