  • VirnetX attempts to spin rough ruling [View news story]
My fading faith in the US judicial system is now definitely gone. They could not very well deny the patents which would have caused a national outcry so they resorted to wriggling and convoluted reasoning to protect Apple from having to pay (for now). A disgusting travesty!

Curiously, it still has no message board on Yahoo Finance. Yeah, I know, who reads those but quite a few drive by investors do. Some enthusiasts (pumpers) also spread the word on other message boards and so word gets around. This may be why this stays under the radar.

  • OncoSec raises capital [View news story]
Really? Including warrants 30 million more shares and looking at the warrant price of 90c up to 5 years out they don't seem to have much confidence in the share price rising in the future.

  • VirnetX's ASM: Updates And Insights [View article]
Sorry to rain on the parade here but I (and others) have asked again and again if Gabriel is so great why have they been unable to sell it, not one in 3 years. We now finally have an answer. I don't understand why but apparently the down side is that it takes a huge amount of capital to develop the market for it and Larsen has declined offers by banks who of course want a stake.
So, we have to wait until Apple supplies the capital. Ok but if there is any kind of remand or more delays Gabriel remains dead in the water and so does Domain name. The only other option then is massive dilution financing with what will then be a very depressed share price, basically sayonara for VHC. I believe that is the reason for the persistent and massive shorting.

Reads like one of these pump/dump articles you get in the mail, little you can check and one must wonder why Rio Tinto up and left in the 90's after drilling all those wells.

  • VirnetX Is Tightening The Noose Around Apple [View article]
22Vesta, agreed. With time sliding by it looks more and more likely that Judge Davis is holding any further rulings until the appeal is decided. This will subject the stock to further short attacks in the interim unless the Co can sell it's security platform but since 4GTL has been rolled out everywhere with zero sales so far this seems less and less likely. Larsen has achieved none of his stated goals for 2013 (but did vote himself a bonus). It's anybody's guess what 2014 will bring.
Still long and hanging in there because the upside (when oh when) is so enormous.

  • Harvest Natural Resources: 6 Different Insiders Have Purchased Shares Last Week [View article]
A somewhat bizarre artificial chart construct. With U.S. oil production booming, Iran and Iraq (Kurdish) oil coming on the market and nearly all the smaller oil producing countries planning to increase production, oil prices are not going to rise to such ridiculous highs in this decade imo. There must be some other reasons these insiders decided to buy now.

  • Clean Energy Fuels: A Solution To The EV And 'Clean Coal' Debacles [View article]
Natural gas is still only an interim solution. It too will run out some day and everyone seems to ignore the environmental destruction and the impact on scarce water resources of the fracking. Take a look at the once pristine Powder river valley in Wyoming. Much more support is needed for Solar, Biogas/fuel, Wind and Seawave power which will have to sustain the country 50-100+ years out since I doubt if the manipulated public will ever agree to blanket the country with nuclear plants.

  • Fracked Water, Meet SmartSponge [View article]
An old start up called Thermoenergy (TMEN) has a superior recycle solution to the dirty frack water problem. The Co has a checkered financial history but is now well placed to take advantage of this huge market. They have already sold a demo system that is getting great reviews. Check out their website.
