I wasn't there in 2009 to bet on apple or google but I came into some money to wager in July and bought 2,100 shares at 23.00 and I'm really glad to have a good report on Facebook! I lived with the monthly reports all summer that I had bet on the wrong horse with 50k. I'm still betting that facebook is a 200.0 share stock with what it already has and will build. We I look out at all the other stocks doing nothing new and worth bank.
For the first time, comScore is counting PC and mobile users in its rankings of U.S. visitors to Web properties. According to the firm, about 51% of Google's (GOOG) U.S. visitors access it via mobile devices, and about 12% are mobile-only. For Yahoo (YHOO), those numbers are 50% and 13%, and for Facebook (FB), it's 51% and 16%. Microsoft (MSFT) has a lot of catching up to do: its numbers are only 24% and 1%. I'm not sure what it was that Mark was working on before he set his big ship down the mobile river but, in a short time it seems he is winning the market share. He must have some good people working for him!
Zynga (ZNGA) -11.1% AH after disclosing it has amended its agreement with Facebook (FB). The most worrisome line: "Facebook will no longer be prohibited from developing its own games." Facebook has said it's not interested in being a game developer, but as of March 31, 2013, it won't be legally obligated on that count. The amendment also frees Zynga of the obligation to display Facebook ads or use Facebook credits on Zynga.com and other company properties, and of having Facebook be its "exclusive social platform." This is the first "Comments" I have joined just because of reports like this one. I know my long on facebook is a risk but some of us are tring to keep the lights on for america during the day and can't know everything! Thanks for sheading some light on a stock I have held since July at 23.05 for 2100 shares. That might not be big for must of ya but it is to me! I hope for a run up to get the money back to 38 for those poor people that started this for us all.. Don't you?
