  • Samsung Galaxy Gear May Change The Apple iPhone Release Story [View article]
This was my sentiment as well after seeing the "Gadget Wear" from Samsung. I own and wear an Omega watch and wear it comfortably. That Samsung watch looks like a real clunker. AAPL can afford to give another extra year to or not even release any i-watch. Need to stick to what makes real money, APPL has always done that. Profit is a word that Samsung has not mastered.

  • Apple For The Alpha Hunter [View article]
$115 on the top end seems to be a conservative number. I think that earnings will continue to increase YoY and with that new category coming on board the increase of ecosystem, AAPL is more than capable of 125 by February of 2015. Forget BBRY crash, that is a non issue in the scenario.

  • Apple's Samsung Problem Can't Be Solved [View article]
You seem to be the first negative on AAPL poster I have seen, unfortunately you seem to miss that fact that none of these so-called advances are game changers. AAPL will continue to innovate and Slamsung will continue to follow, never a leader even in the TV market. You can trust that. After the run up AAPL took what did we expect. Well one thing is a more indepth analysis from SA authors than this one... Are you listening Slamsung? Get your wallet out and be ready, more than likely to pay big time for patent infringements!

  • The Network Effect: Why Apple's iOS Will Win The Platform War Over Google's Android [View article]
Go ahead and dispute the analytics, Look at the Beta, VHS war, or the Blue Ray dominance, it's all about what programming/entertainment is available. The process of overcoming the current imbalance of users in the "cheaper" sorry inexpensive, never mind, I did mean to say cheaper, of Android format is going to take time but programming and attrition of developers to I-phone format is inevitable given the current trends.

Then there will be the impact of BB 10 sucking off support of developers and carriers from Android.... read between the lines...and there is your answer, Google will need to adjust accordingly... there will lie the battle!

  • Apple's Rally Is The Child Of A Deluded Wall Street [View article]
I totally agree with Ruchemykol, What has AMZN returned that even closely resemble the profits of AAPL. Bezos has been able to keep it afloat using just hot air... now AAPL uses Wall Street tradition tools like a buyback coupled with a rising dividend, something investors can sink their teeth in and what does your analysis portend... another negative AAPL article. Dear SA, I hope that you didn't pay someone to Juggle on this one.

  • "We believe that Apple (AAPL) will launch the iPhone 5S at China Mobile (CHL) this July, as it launches the next iteration of the iPhone globally," writes Wedge Partners' Brian Blair, without elaborating on his sources. The remarks come a little less than 3 months after Apple and China Mobile signed a confidentiality agreement. Blair sees a 5S model supporting China Mobile's TD-SCDMA 3G network likely entering production in May. (WSJ report[View news story]
I personally am not judging what AAPL is set to release. I trust that TC's boys will make a big splash, and do it right. We will be rewarded as share holders and AAPL will continue to lead the industry, with all others following.

  • The Non-Decline And Fall Of Apple [View article]
Hey davel, I bet Jeff Bezos will be begging for some of those profits once the bloom of AMZN wears off. APPL is here to stay profitable. Now that Samsung owes AAPL over a billion dollars for copyright infringement, they will need to review their product offerings and pricing, just to break even. WS likes to live on promises not necessarily results. Me? Very long AAPL, since 2006 and holding!

  • A little more on Deutsche/Apple: The firm notes Japanese analyst Yasuo Nakane has long been cautious about FQ2 (March quarter) iPhone builds, and thinks the consensus for FQ2 iPhone sales has fallen to around 37M. The U.S. team thinks Nakane's estimates (45M builds in FQ1, 28M-30M in FQ2) implies upside to his FQ1 sales forecast, and downside to his FQ2 forecast. Meanwhile, his forecast for 17M-19M FQ2 iPad builds implies upside to an FQ2 forecast for sales of 15M. [View news story]
Old Chinese Proverb say: AAPL leads by example critics have nothing to talk about, wait til January 23 and let's see who is talking then. In the mean time buy while it's low!

  • The Massive Underperformance Of Apple Vs. Amazon [View article]
cs, Do you know what is not in the pipeline for AAPL? Or are you trying to give your negative spin on AAPL? They don't talk much but have carried somewhat of a large stick up.

  • iPhone 6 Expected To See Robust Demand [View article]
I am with you there scott trader. Well if anyone can short AAPL, it is MB! Staying on bandwagon for the time being. Actually was interesting to read that he is "mildly bullish about the prospects for the iPhone 6 which I expect to set new sales records for iPhones" But still manages to pull a negative out of his guarded positive with this end of quote "even if those sales come at the expense of some iPad volume."

For the casual MB reader, MB. not to be confused, although many do, with Mostly Bull, is an AAPL bear and a RIMM, oh excuse me, BBRY Bull. You can do the math for yourself. I would warn that actively shorting AAPL can be very hazardous to your health, and MB's hasn't been good lately along the short lines.

  • Algorithm Predicts An End To Apple's 12-Month Run [View article]
I haven't checked my astrological chart lately. This whole scenario seems unlikely to come to fruition until all the stars in the solar system align perfectly. I mean seriously, SA allows MB to post anything, could this be MB in camouflage? No mention of earnings reports? What's the world coming to? Armageddon?

  • Apple Adds Another Small Acquisition - A Strategy That Could Pay Off Down The Road [View article]
" Any smart phone user today is using their phone as a mini computers & size of the viewing area is by far of the most important feature for that use."

Says you! And of course AAPL is addressing this market by making tablets which are how much larger then smart phones?

  • Apple $700: Don't Get Burned Again [View article]
Ashraf Eassa, enjoy reading your articles, but isn't this subject a little worn out now? AAPL is holding near 500 and continues with the MOST profits in the category of mobile entertainment with the most solidly installed base of loyal users.

So your point is what? That there,is something sacred about 700, other than fact that AAPL went south shortly after reaching that mark?... But then there was the dividend, followed by the raising of the dividend, do you have a problem with free shares?

Or do you have a problem with AAPL's many acquisitions last year, or the stock buy back program? I think your post fail to address any of these MARKET LEADING FACTS! This is as you say one of the great companies, yet you seem to rely on a bunch of technology mumbo jumbo to try to point out that the sector is bottoming out and becoming a commodity based industry. I happen to know the in any industry, the innovators will continue to survive, and the others will move on.

So Ashraf Eassa, it is now time for you to move on to other stocks, don't let the door hit you on the way out and come back before 1000 becomes the new sustainable mark for AAPL!

  • The DoD will place an order for 650K iOS (AAPL) devices - 210K iPhones, 120K iPads, 100K iPad Minis, and 200K iPod touches - following the end of the sequester, Electronista reports. The iOS gear will reportedly be used to replace BlackBerrys (BBRY) - the DoD currently has 470K in operation - and would come ahead of the planned implementation of a "platform agnostic" device policy in Feb. 2014. Electronista previously reported the DoD had largely ended BB10 testing due to budget cuts. [View news story]
1000000 order into channel. If it doesn't sell through, it all comes back. Government buys on contract. Big diff. Besides even without this order, AAPLs numbers are still bigger and getting bigger than BBRY. With the order from DoD, the numbers in $$$$s is higher for AAPL, do the math, dolt!

And maybe the first clue as to this was when TC was invited to sit in M Obama's box during the State of the Union... Oh yes, I've been saving that one for awhile. Actually I had forgotten til just now.
