Wen Shiau is the founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Tai Tam Capital. Before establishing Tai Tam, Wen was a sales and trading professional in fixed income for over 20 years in HK, Tokyo and NY. Utilizing Mr. Shiau’s multi-currency, multi-product background and his senior relationships in Asia, he has built successful businesses by integrating principal investing with capital markets. Wen was co-head of capital markets and member of the Investment and Executive Committees of a German Landesbank for Asia-Pacific, including Japan and Australia. In addition, Mr. Shiau spent 10 years at CSFB and 7 years collectively at Lehman and Greenwich NatWest. He began his career on Wall Street as an MBS trader in NY for First Boston and since 1992, has specialized in Asian capital markets, their derivatives and Asian corporate structured solutions. Wen holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a BA in Theoretical Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University.
