I am a former university professor of English and education. Four years ago, I resigned to start my own copyediting/proofreading/research assistance business, called Editrice, Ink (www.editriceink.com). At the same time, I also began self-educating about the stock market. I opened an online trading account and have met with some (very small-time) success. I read Seeking Alpha every morning and totally enjoy the challenge of learning about something completely different from my formal training, education, and background.
