      It looks like this company has some naked short sellers. According to Yahoo, insiders own 120% of the company!? I do not know about anyone else, but naked hsorting can be very tough to get rid of.

      I agree. Another advantage of CEF is the tax status. Unlike GLD and IAU, CEF is not taxed as a collectible. You have to be careful though, since CEF is closed ended, it can trade at a substantial premium to NAV, eliminating the tax benefit. When gold corrects, or more precisely, after buying momentum has eased in a rally, this premium will shink. Buy then.

      I do not believe your story on the interest rate yields. These currecny funds pay much more than .4% you say.

      Japan: Weekly ETF and CEF Performance
      Does the premium in JOF not concern anybody? In a world of ETFs trading at NAV why would JOF have a +15% premium? I guess JOF management must be vastly superior to the overall index funds that are available?
