  • USPTO Checkmates Google Over Vringo Patents [View article]
In regards to Vringo specifically, earnings are meaningless. This is an event-driven stock and it will trade on news.

  • Vringo's Suit Against Microsoft - What The Past Tells Us [View article]
On the other side, I believe VRNG is banking on a favorable result with GOOG (they've already won, technically), and that will make a statement to the smaller fish.

No surprise in the Laches trial denial. If the stock holds here, the base gets stronger. If Google appeals loss, Laches comes back on table.

  • Vringo Vs. Google: Google Did Not 'Flip-Flop' Or Concede To Ongoing Royalties [View article]
Just an FYI for those keeping score... with the favorable USPTO ruling, Mr. Ravicher has now updated his fair value of Vringo from 3.15-3.25 to 3.40-3.50

  • Insider Laugh Money: Altucher's Picks [View article]
While CRRS remains TBD, the anonymous author fails to mention the stock prices of Vringo and Trovagene when James Altucher first began talking about them. VRNG was under 1.70. TROV was under 3.90. As of Friday's close, BOTH stocks are up more than 100% since then. Those are some important points to omit when critiquing someone else's stock picks.

Why are people giving the author a hard time? I've been long for a while now and appreciate the objectivity. This is nowhere near some of the other one-sided pieces I've read. Thanks for the piece.

  • Trade Vringo Profitably [View article]
So the author (an anonymous one at that) states that not only will the stock eventually trade out of its historical range at some point in the rest of time, but traders should buy low and sell high...?

Also included is a brief list of things that could and could not happen, presented in such a way that the author could say "I told you so" in the event of any of them remotely occuring, let alone getting a mention by either party.

All of this, mind you, from a "How To Trade" piece that has not one screenshot/timestamp included in it.

    C'mon, now.
