  • Bank Of America: More Likely To Hit $25 Than $10 [View article]
I like the long outlook for BAC and will probably pull the trigger at the $16 price. One question about the settlement. Was the $5b in litigation costs part of the $9b , or is that coming later on down the pike?

  • Will Silver Break Free From The $20 Price Range? [View article]
SLW is not just about silver prices anymore. They also hold positions in gold, albeit small compared to silver. So they are not 100% dependent upon silver prices. They will in all likelihood always trade a couple of dollars higher than silver. At least that's been the case over the last year. I got in at low 20s and always figured it was a hedge against a major correction, inflation, or some sort of crisis like Ukraine. And since they pay a dividend, based on metals prices, you get paid something unlike holding the metals which pay you nothing while you wait for the next disruption.

  • Micron Technology: Convertible Disaster [View article]
Wow, this is a plateful for us non financial wizards to comprehend. Does it all simply mean MU shareholders are in for a very unpleasant surprise because of some serious dilution at the end of the tunnel? If so, and trying to keep this in layman terms, what's the likely timeframe for this to knock the share price down? I think I speak for most of us unsophisticated investors who got into MU because of the rosy growth picture being painted due to the favorable structural changes in their competitive environment.

  • I Hear The Shorts Knocking, But, I'm Staying Long On Inovio [View article]
When I did my initial due diligence into INO, I didn't sense there was anything that suggested a pump and dump. My research includes the Street, the Fool, and Yahoo's summary. Some things that did convince me to invest was the lack of insider selling, number and reputation of institutional investors, and some positive articles on SA, Fool, etc. Thanks for supporting my gut feeling and research about INO.

  • Did Micron Just Jump The Shark? [View article]
I'm waiting for W.Wong and Electricphred's response to this. Although, Mr Wilson's was also appreciated. Yes, we could be in for a correction, and am thinking that's another good entry point, because this segment is dominated by 3 co's.

  • Qatar reportedly exiting group bidding on Occidental Mideast stake [View news story]
I don't care who buys it as long as they get it sold and they limit their exposure to such a high risk area. Hopefully, they also speed up the California spinoff. I'm long until they hit that $110-115 price target everyone seems to think is right around the corner. Maybe Qtar going it alone will speed up this move.

  • Micron's 2014 Insider Trading: An Analysis [View article]
Thanks for all the work. Still it's a confusing situation. Any idea if Einhorn' s Greenlight has been selling off some it's holdings? Hopefully, one of the techies who write on MU will provide us w/ an article on what we can expect for guidance going forward. That will probably effect the price more than the quarterly results, which most expect to be favorable.

  • Bank Of America: Go Home, Goldman Sachs, You're Drunk [View article]
Wasn't it GS that called their clients "muppets"? When GS speaks folks shouldn't listen, because it's most likely not for their benefit, but instead for the greater good of GS.

  • Ford Motor: This Ridiculous Valuation Can't Last Forever [View article]
There will come a point this year where the market corrects around 5-7%. F won't buck that trend and likely drop below $15/s. When that happens it's time to refresh your portfolio with some F. Drivers; growth in China, turnaround in Europe as mentioned above, new software provider for the synch system, new Aluminum F150, and new models take hold. Would like to see them spin off F credit, but doubtful they'll do it.

  • Did Disney's Stock Get Ahead Of Itself? [View article]
Recently, all the articles about DIS are bullish, and the sentiment appears justified. No doubt Iger and Mickey are doing a great job. One question, however, authors never mention DIS's announcement last summer about a buy back of $6-8 billion. Is this not going to happen because the SP is too high? When they announced it SP was in the mid to high 60 range. Since their dividend is nothing to write home about, and that's not a complaint, it would Be nice to get that kicker plus all the other positive buzz about their future.

  • Sell Disney - It Is Too Expensive [View article]
I tend to agree w/ the author. It is probably time to take some profits, so I plan on selling a portion. One thing that has stopped me from doing this, however, was the DIS announcement last summer that they planned on a buy back of between $6-8 billion. It hasn't happened to date and wonder if it's been delayed because even DIS thinks the shares have nowhere to go from here this year except down? I do expect it will recover late this year as investors look forward to a host of growth items in 15 and 16. Eiger is making all the right moves and is a CEO to hitch your wagon for the long haul.

  • Good night for Fox and Warner at the Oscars [View news story]
Frozen's the movie that keeps on giving. Hopefully, it gets an Oscar Bounce here, but it will make more as it hasn't opened in Japan. DVD sales should be thru the roof.

Go DIS! My only concern is if the middle class get's hit hard by the macros, parks and resorts revenues might suffer. Something to watch.

  • Inovio continues sharply lower after secondary offering [View news story]
In Dr. Kim, I trust. Does everyone think the secondary is priced in at around $3.40? It seems to be finding support at that level.

  • The Walt Disney Company: The Only Mega Cap With A Perfect Piotroski F-Score [View article]
Also, I don't believe DIS intellectual properties/copy rights are fully valued. Intangible asset for sure but it's value one would think is probably thru the roof.
