keep lowering your prices and your margins and things will continue to decline. keep quite, lack transparency, don't pay dividends, and who knows how many more "investors" will buy your stock. Didn't Enron have a great PR capability as well?
if people are cutting back on spending for back to school, vacations, auto purchases, and house payments, I think they would be inclined to purchase a less costly mobile telephone as an interim measure pending a recovery in future confidence. appeletts are a cult like band of lemmings wanting the newest touchy techie thing to show off to their band. kinda like $450 sunglasses.

if apple were in infrastructure they would sell you an upgraded brooklyn bridge. apple lacks transparency (like banks) and just continues to hype its upgrades. the phone wars are far from over and the full impact of the recent "new" pricing, etc has not been adequately analyzed for future implications and contributions to profit. usually when the price of something is cut, profits decline.
I guess dishonesty and a lack of ethics is acceptable in management if you have shiny source for u tube viewing. The continuing lack of candor and marginal transparency coupled with the arrogant corporate culture points to an ultimate decline at some time in the future.
