I'm a retired serial entrepreneur - everything from retail to medical equipment and devices. In other words, many times I have CREATED jobs where there were none, so I know intellectually as well as emotionally what it's like to play the game with YOUR OWN MONEY. Hired executives have no skin in the game other than their job. Company goes down and they move on - too often with a bonus or retirement package!!! REAL jobs come only from people with assets that are willing to put them into the pot. These academics that have NEVER created a real job, with their OWN money, really aggravate me. It's no surprise then that every jobs announcement says that the experts are "surprised". And, how about this suggestion: when they announce jobs created etc. they indicate how many of them were Fed & State jobs? And this crap about "jobs saved"...what a friggin' insult that is!
