  • Nuclear ETF Showing Strength [View article]
Gee, I must be a little "nuts." I bought this 'ETF before it became the rage and have decided to take one-half off. One for the money, two for the show. You folks may be getting in a little late. But what do I know I only trade the stuff.

  • Rep. Kanjorski's Unreasonable, Unconscionably Ridiculous Idea [View article]
The price of oil is part of a cartel. Meaning it is fixed. That would be called price fixing in America. But the free ride for cheap oil is coming to an end, but I still see those "giant cars" on the rode...No my friend, Americans must pay the price of ignoring the market.

  • Viacom’s Double Whammy: Killing MTV and Losing MySpace [View article]
Back in the buggy age, I was one of the first marketing people to work for MTV. My name is Neal Weintraub and back then MTV stood for Music Television. Viacom has killed the brand and the company is run by a guy who rather watch his fish tank than television. Viacom and Redstone are great short sells. And that makes me sad, because many people made it a great brand. i was proud to work there....too bad it is a "chocolate mess."

  • Inflation Targeting and Accountability [View article]
the Fed does not have an inflation target. Go ahead and call the Chicago Fed and ask for Jerry Nelson and mention my name. He will tell you the Fed's target is a moving one. Or that is what he told me and my class at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange

Wrong, Dead wrong. But what about the thousands you cost investors. You were wrong, you had no money. Where was your stop loss, or a put. Must be fun to be wrong...when its not your cash.

  • Is Countrywide Financial the Next Enron? [View article]
Well, I was short Countryside and it blew up in mu face on a four buck rally. I need it to take out last week's pivot or midrange before I will short again. Interesting article.

  • The Worst is Yet to Come for Housing [View article]
I used to work for NAR. And they are an association that blocked equal housing and even embraced Nixon in the last months of his presidency. I know, I was there in WASH. Now, there job is to keep memebership, so you can't expect anything but a little lipstick on the NAR pig.

  • Does Skins Inc. Fit the Mold?  [View article]
The forty people were on a list for free shoes. The marketing department has never got back to me. They need to penetrate the northern suburbs and start a trend. Yes, I own the stock instead of betting on the Cubs....but they are "twisting in the wind" and need a lucky break.
