I am a retired physician who practiced Diagnostic Radiology for 34 years. I do my own investment research - both fundamental and technical - in managing my investment portfolio. Regarding technical anaylsis - I use custom indicators that I have personally developed to assess money flow and cyclical price movements. My investment time frame could best be described as position trading but I will vary the length of my investment horizon regarding specific positions as the need arises. I also manage a portion of my portfolio for income & capital preservation, separate from my active trading which is purely oriented toward growth by capital gains.
