Intel May Win Its War With AMD: Long Term Road Map Looks Promising

This is interesting... just about a year back, the sentiment was exactly opposite..
February 2006 AMD hit $40 and it seemed like Intel would have tough time for long..

on the face of it, the situation has reversed quickly..

not quite in reality though - Anyway you look at, the damage is done to Intel.. AMD is no longer just a "wannabe", its acknowledged competitor and will keep Intel on its toes for a long time, if not actually strike back in a big way! benefit, lower PC prices to us hopefully.

when it comes to investment, I would keep away from both of these because price war isnt good for any investment!

I quickly checked another piece of data. Though a bit North America centric, PCB book-to-bill ratio does provide leading indication of chip sector and this one sint looking good either!
