  • Interview With Energy Recovery CEO Joel Gay  [View article]
Thank you for taking the time to interview the new ERII CEO. An interesting company that needs time to gain traction. It's tough being a micro-cap!

When I consider these companies I'm always interested to take a look at the investors who've a taken a large position. Two investors in ERII who caught my attention are Peter Ole Lorentzen and Arve Hanstveit. They seem to have a history of being involved in disruptive technologies, businesses that can scale and investments that have an achievable exit point for the investor.

You can check out Mr. Hanstveit's toughts about this at his TED Talk,

  • Revisiting Gasfrac: 40% Revenue Growth, 75% Off All-Time High  [View article]
    Good morning!

    GSFVF released Q2 2012 revenue, 8/8/12.

Given the reported industry slow down in the drill rig count + GSFVF being a newbie is this result consistent with what you expect for the next 3 or 4 quarters?

If you were an investor of the technology with a 3 year horizon on the business does GSFVF still make sense?

  • Gasfrac Energy: Fractured Dreams And The U.S. Potential  [View article]

Given GASFRAC's release of Q2 revenue what are your thoughts?

Recent news in WSJ, Forbes, et. al. sounds like rig counts will continue to decrease as integrated oil companies seem satisfied with current levels of supply versus cost per barrel or MBTU.

This a.m. stock price $2.36 - $2.41, thus far. Entry point if you are buying the business on a 3 year horizon?

Nawar - Thank you for your 4/17/12 analysis. The price action makes sense to me given what you are writing.
My experience reminds me that at this stage stocks like GSF can test a traders patience.
The resent change in management seems like a positive. This position just needs some time to work especially in light of recent developments such as the NY and NJ ban and evaluation, as well as the companies idea of licensing their technology.
    I hold'em for now.
