    • sethmcs: Hope so. Not expecting anything wonderful.

    • wigit5: $ANRZQ down on good news about NatGas inventory drawdowns? I just don't get it.

    • cfb5006: I know I have said this a few times, but I would watch these coal stocks here. I think the next step is lower, and in a hurry.

    • wigit5: Whats your main catalyst lower cfb?
      1/24/13
    • cfb5006: But who knows. At this point investing in these companies is close to playing Roulette.
      1/24/13
    • wigit5: I just don't see it going lower to much has happened in a positive direction. Price stabilization, huge cost cutting measures, china rebound
      1/24/13
    • wigit5: By going lower I mean great than normal day trading I would say after earnings we see $8.50 but underlying positive improvements will show
      1/24/13
    • cfb5006: The problem is 7.25 to 9.65 is all China news. Its time to start showing that in profits. My guess is you hear about bad met coal pricing

    • cfb5006: I just don't see how they have a beat. What has changed? Hopes about China doesn't help this quarter.
      1/24/13
    • wigit5: not proposing they beat, but I believe future guidance along with a meets expectations last quarter and year for 2012 will keep it at 8.50
      1/24/13
    • wigit5: I saw that mudder and you could be right... its the only thing I could find thats even relevant other than the natgas inventory numbers
      1/24/13
    • cfb5006: The only way they can keep meeting their earnings is to issue low guidance. I don't see them raising the bar quite yet.
      1/24/13
    • wigit5: agreed i dont think any coal company will raise guidance and will continue to issue conservative guidance.
      1/24/13
    • cfb5006: I just see most of these companies at key levels to hold, before we get any kind of market pullback. I wonder where they go if we get one.
      1/24/13
    • cfb5006: I would love to see this at low 8s/high 7s before earnings.
      1/25/13
    • wigit5: good luck on that cfb you shorting? or just waiting for an entry point
      1/25/13
    • cfb5006: Just a better entry point. I have only successfully shorted ANR once, been burned a few times. I love this stock long term by the way.
      1/25/13
    • cfb5006: I just would rather not be the guy riding it down from 9 to wherever it goes short-term.
      1/25/13
    • wigit5: yeah agreed, I'm in the process of soothing some burning myself from my first ANR purchase also like it long term.
      1/25/13
    • cfb5006: My first purchase was at $20.43. I have bought and sold it many many times on the way down, though.
      1/25/13
    • wigit5: you are in good company then cfb my first buy was 19.02 lol
