I am an almost-retired-guy, who attends shareholder's meetings along California Interstate 880, which runs along the other side of "The Valley." The area is full of roll-up-door industrial parks with hardware start-ups [not so many software companies]. I will attend annual meeting no further south than the Santa Clara cut-off, and up north to Oakland [25 miles]. But that's still a lot of little start-ups.
