  • GMO Update: Is Organic Gaining Ground? [View article]
Any numbers to speak of? Organic sales vs. traditional over last 10 years? Projection for next 5-10 years? Basic comments on what types of acreages shifts would occur? This article is more "blog" than Seeking Alpha quality without some sort of data.

  • Vermont becomes first U.S. state to require GMO food labeling [View news story]
It's a supply chain cost - which is real when you are considering the thousands and thousands of tons of grain (GMO/Non-GMO).

    It's not a labeling cost.

  • Vermont becomes first U.S. state to require GMO food labeling [View news story]
Labas - your point is accurate if $400 was just for labeling. The reality is that GMO foods are proven by 2000 independent / university research papers to be equally safe. The $400 cost will be simply a cost to track product from farmer field, into semi truck to elevator to middle man (e.g., ADM) to grain consumer (e.g., Kelloggs).

The market has a way of handling non-GMO voluntarily -via "organic" labeling.

Article title seems to mislead. Should simply state 6 QQQ firms are richly valued. There isn't description about "Opportunity"

Nick - what's your take on the word "reliable" and utilities for the next 20 years? It seems the alternative energy offering is at the cusp of starting to hinder utility growth?

    Do you focus on water?

Better content in this post than original article. Most of the referenced companies, per the author's own admission, face real revenue or debt cost challenges. MJS and others in the comment section seem to have a better range of ideas that the original post.
