Why the pseudonym Lord Baltimore? He was a famous native american scout in the late 1800's as well as an intense character in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid who relentlessly tracked the two heroes. (A 1970s heavy metal band was similarly inspired by the film character in selecting its name.) I view investing a lot like tracking. It is a process of putting together clues found along a trail to determine the path of the target, which in this case is attractive investments - long or short.
Alan Brochstein, CFA, was the first investment professional to devote himself to sharing his observations about the cannabis industry from an investor's perspective publicly. He runs 420 Investor, a subscription-based due diligence platform for investors interested in the publicly-traded cannabis stocks and is also the founder of New Cannabis Ventures, a content aggregation site focused on investors and entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry.
Alan has worked in the securities industry since 1986, primarily with the responsibility for managing investments in institutional environments until he founded AB Analytical Services in 2007 in order to provide independent research and consulting to registered investment advisors. In addition to advising several different hedge funds and investment managers, including Friedberg Investment Management, where he participated as a member of its investment management committee, Alan was also a senior analyst for the independent research firm Management CV. In 2008, he began providing a first-of-its-kind subscription-based service for individual investors, Invest By Model, which offered two different portfolios that investors could replicate in their own accounts for $20 per month. Alan also offered The Analytical Trader at Marketfy, where he used fundamental and technical analysis in a disciplined process to offer specific trade ideas geared towards swing traders.
Alan launched www.420Investor.com in late 2013 as the premier source of information for "Green Rush" investors seeking to capitalize on the proliferation of legalized medical and recreational cannabis. In March 2014, Alan, who is a member of the National Cannabis Industry Association, began to focus solely on the cannabis sector. He launched www.NewCannabisVentures.com in late 2015.

One of the first stocks Michael Goode looked to invest in when he first started investing in 2005 was a small company traded on the Pinksheets called US WindFarming. During his research, Michael found out that the CEO had previously been convicted of criminal stock fraud and had served time in jail for a scheme that purported to turn base metals into gold. Michael decided not to invest and six months later the SEC sued the company, alleging that all the press releases were fake and the company was a sham that existed for the sole purpose of selling shares to gullible investors in order to enrich the insiders.
Following that experience, Michael Goode became a bit of a cynic. While he called himself a value investor and even briefly ran a value investing newsletter, his true love was exposing fraud and failed businesses. At his blog GoodeValue.com, sometimes syndicated on SeekingAlpha.com, he blasted companies such as H2Diesel (later renamed New Generation Biofuels), Cytocore (later sued by the SEC), Remote MDX (later panned by Andrew Left of Citron Research and Carol Remond of Dow Jones Newswires), and Noble Roman’s Pizza (on which he was quoted in multiple articles in the Indianapolis Business Journal).
Michael Goode has continued to shine a light on stock promotions and the people behind them on his trading blog, GoodeTrades.com. He has blogged about lawsuits involving stock promoters (a couple more) and he has exposed the multiple websites used by certain stock promoters. He remains a full-time stock trader; you can see most of his trades on Profit.ly.
Michael Goode graduated from Earlham College in 2004 and obtained a Masters Degree in Cognitive Psychology in 2007, from Washington University in St. Louis. He is the managing member of MorningLightMountain LLC, the owner of GoodeTrades.com, OTCMicroCapResearch.com, and all other content he writes online. Michael Goode has never been charged with or convicted of any crime whatsoever.
A former stock promoter who is looking to redeem himself by helping others avoid pump and dump schemes. I am in the business of exposing pump and dump schemes and helping out the naive investor. Redemption Equity Research is run by the PennyStockRealist.
I like exposing Penny Stock Pump and Dumps. Most of my research is done to help good hard working people avoid being scammed into investing in a pump and dump. Share the reports to show Seeking Alpha they are worth publishing this kind of information to help people avoid losing money in pump and dumps.
