  • Amazon Drones Could Deliver A Package In Under 30 Minutes For $1 [View article]
My question with this wacked out drone idea is how will they be able to deliver to urban high rises & apartment buildings? In NYC, I have trouble believing that tens of thousands of drones would be allowed to be flying around at street level dropping off a large variety of packages on the street. Also, if they need to be brought inside, the drone isn't flying through the door/window. Never mind the swirling winds that result from skyscrapers in the major cities. Almost guaranteed this nonsense idea will be at most a gimmick. If this goes through, i'm very bullish on personal injury lawyers when the old grandma or young child is struck by one.

  • North American Palladium Update: Who Wants To Sell Us The Brooklyn Bridge Again? [View article]
Well, considering that PAL is getting delisted today and it's "recapitalization" plan leaves bagholders with 2% of the stock fun trader got it right. PAL lasted 4 months longer than he thought, big deal. Also, before they halted this trash the price was .05, below even FTs number.

  • Netflix jumps 12.7% on strong subscription growth [View news story]
Netflix needs to have continued growth combined with hikes in prices to reach its goals. Possible but another high growth stock that due to the lack of businesses able to grow in a now low growth world is having good money after bad thrown at it. Barring a Brave New World ending this will end badly. No stake in Netflix as too much $s chasing any possible gain particularly in areas producing no real goods. Scarier thought is that central banks and governments are chasing this and should some fail, they won't eat the loss, the citizenry will.

  • Netflix: Street Applauds Disastrous Financial Results [View article]
My issue with the netflix and amazons of the world is that they are price like a microcap biotech stock for growth but sport huge market caps. I like Netflix a lot as a consumer but all these companies have to at some point EARN substantial profits which is the big struggle they will have. Revenue growth is great but if you can't make money, it doesn't mean much. I'm younger but it seems to me that the lessons of the tech bubble weren't learned.

  • Silver Wheaton Gets Streaming: Why Management Doubled Down On Solobo [View article]
While I question the amount SLW paid for this deal with Vale, I think we can't truly judge it until a few years out. Clearly SLW management is bullish on gold, while Vale is not. My guess is that management estimated gold prices carrying through at least 2030 and figured that they would have a bellcow investment long after they are gone. Glad to see they are looking long term, but they took a lot of risk on this. How this pans out over the next 3-5 years will make or break silver Wheaton stock.

  • Silver Wheaton expects 20% 2015 production growth [View news story]
Probably the most safe precious metals company with ability to deliver 100% upside should silver and gold bounce to $30 silver and $1600 gold.

  • Rhino Resources - The Bad News Is Fully Priced In [View article]
I agree with the author that RNO had their kitchen sink quarter. They thankfully have plenty of liquidity from their sale of shale assets last year clearing out a huge amount of debt. If coal prices start rising, this stock will be well positioned to take advantage given its balance sheet & decent assets.

  • SunTrust downgrades Amazon, calls stock "more expensive" than believed [View news story]
Wow, an analyst saying Amazon isn't going to the moon. No wonder Gary is apoplectic! Bond offering by Amazon at the end of 2015 to maintain "growth", so the banks need to promote the stock if they want a piece of the action. Any downwinds from the economy and Amazon is in big trouble.

The entire coal industry is getting destroyed right now. Seems like the only players will be RIO, BHP, and 1 maybe 2 australian companies.

  • Why We Think Amazon's Stock Is Fairly Valued At $295 [View article]
Count AMZN to post a loss in 2015 and have to do another debt offering at the end of 2015-start of 2016. What the stock does, I have no clue as it is not based on anything other than hope and greater fools. Eventually gravity will catch up with them but when is the $170 billion question.

  • Amazon up 4% after eBay's earnings [View news story]
I'm delighted that Amazon is giving things away for free as well! When are they filing as a 501(c)(3)? At least then we can all make tax deductible donations to Glorious Leader Bezos. 0.00 earnings are good for another $100 jump in the stock!

I'm quite happy about this run up, makes when I jump back in short just prior to earnings at $315-330 range earn me more money. The question is when are the dumb money mutual funds, pension funds, et al going to dump this?

  • Amazon up 4% after eBay's earnings [View news story]
Dont worry. Amazon will still lose money for 2014 and in 2015 as well. Next $3 billion debt offering will be end of 2015, start of 2016. See ya at $4.25.
