rdbach: you are right in saying "without refining, companies like COP are exposed to sharp drops in oil prices." Conversely, be sure and remember that "without upstream (E&P) companies like (name any refining company) are more exposed to sharp increases oil prices. LONG COP!

Just an add on to my previous comment: just to clarify. I was comparing RFI to PSEC as my high yield investment. COP falls in a different category for me.

Ronald: Yes, I have considered RFI. I just prefer double the dividend and greater future capital gain potential of PSEC. LONG PSEC!

I am not about to sell COP. I will be dripping the coming dividend and adding more as capital allows. When crude recovers (and it will) COP will be out of the gates a "mean and lean" E&P machine ready for a serious run up. My guess is sooner than many think. LONG PSEC!

Yield ma: You just helped educate a lot of investors that have never understood your well placed comments. Many have never taken the time to actually examine PSEC's holdings. PSEC is indeed a very high yielding investment with room for a substantial capital gain. This is a long term play. Thanks for making your very important and valid points. LONG PSEC!

The financial results out my point. The numerous working parts of this company has been dissected by others many times. If you don't agree with or don't understand the operation of this company then take your investing somewhere you can agree with and/or understand. Just my opinion. LONG PSEC!

ORI: you can make that dividend now for THREE months plus adding an extra $.03 for the cushion fund.

I think these numbers are outstanding. What is there not to like. I like the extra $.03/share that goes into the piggy bank for future dividend payments. Three more months of dividends at the $.25/share. I could go on, but I don't have the time. LONG PSEC!
