  • ConocoPhillips Q1 Earnings Preview: Asset Sales And Pricing Outlook [View article]
LONG and HOLD for me. My truck had been loaded for some time. No better investor friendly E&P company than COP!

  • ConocoPhillips: Protecting The Dividend Without Cash Flow [View article]
Energy Tech: I disagree with your thinking. Crude will be $70+ dollars by the end of the year.
COP will continue drilling the Eagle Ford where their advantage is low cost leases obtained when they purchased Burlington Resources almost ten years ago. Nothing has "to give" for this company. Largest single holding in my portfolio. I spent 35 years in the oil industry with one of the largest E&P companies so I understand the dynamics of COP. I rate the stock a BUY even at this juncture.

I did the very same thing. I am out and I plan to stay out. I have "GE fatigue."

  • How ConocoPhillips' Eagle Ford Operations Will Survive $56 WTI [View article]
Excellent article explaining the Eagle Ford bonanza for COP! I am overweight this great yielding stock. Best of breed in my opinion.

  • ConocoPhillips - Asset Sales And Conventional Reserves Development In Focus [View article]
Big reserves offshore for sure, but very expensive to get ashore. Fracking is the low hanging fruit now!

  • Conoco, Devon, Total, Statoil shape up best for $60-$75 oil, Citi says [View news story]
Crude does not need to go to triple digits for COP to be VERY profitable. The "best of breed" in my opinion.

  • 29% Upside And 4%+ Dividend Yield Make An Investment In ConocoPhillips A No-Brainer [View article]
COP is indeed a "no brainer" if ever there was one. I have owned shares of this company, in one form or another, for over 45 years. My heirs will someday be very grateful.

  • Reuters: ConocoPhillips planning U.S. asset sales [View news story]
COP continues to keep one step (sometimes 10 steps) ahead of the competition. The phenomenal acreages acquired in the Burlington Resources purchase have clearly kicked into gear. Most thought they paid too much for BR! Obviously, they did not. LONG COP!

  • General Electric: Traders May Sell, But Investors Should Hold [View article]
I sold my entire position too. I had been buying over the last two months. I became just plain "tired" of following GE. Good luck to all current longs.

  • ConocoPhillips' New 3-Year Plan [View article]
You lost me when you denigrated a GREAT dividend yield of 4.4%. You called it "not great." About every analyst I follow would greatly disagree with you. I know I do!
