A Dividend-Growth Investor's Dilemma [View article]
Good article Larry. I have purchased alot of shares of AIG at an average price of around $35/share. I'm also very certain they will pay increasing dividends in the coming years. My reason for getting in early is whatever their initial dividend rate will be, my rate will be higher based on my initial average share price. i.e. if at $70 they start at 3%, my return will be 6% based on my $35 average share price. To me the expected share price increase will be icing on the cake. Good Luck!

Nessuno Why do you say comparing 3D printing to the photocopier just adds to the hype cycle? I think the point he was making was that all existing technology also began as a clumsy product but was also a great idea. There are several stages or life cycles of a new product before it is considered mainstream. All products and ideas started like photocopiers. Remember how hyped the internet was when it first started? The hypsters are no more wrong on the future value and use of 3D printing than are the naysayers. Is it possible that the naysayers are correct in the short term and the hypsters will correct long term? History will be the final arbiter.

Thanks for another good article Arnie!
There's still alot of negativity about the market. As a contrarian that's probably a good sign in the short term. There is alot of wisdom in the old adage "..the market (or stock) .climbing on a wall of worry". I get much more concerned when everyone is buying and I get stock tips from my barber!

Mr House
I will say you are a man of your convictions! But DUDE you are really obsessing! You've made your point ad nauseum but still you continue. Are you trying to save the world from this big, bad corporation? I don't know if you are right or you are wrong but wouldn't it be alot more fun if you mortgaged your house and sold the company short. Then you'd be able to come back on the site and tell all of the little people how smart you are, and how wealthy you have become? Wouldn't that be alot funner than what you are doing now?

Hey Buffett Jr
What are you basing your accusations of questionable accounting practices on? Are you a CPA who has studied the books or is your opinion based only on Mr. Houses opinion?

Those were actually fraudulent. So you are publicly saying here that DDD committed fraud just like Enron? Is that what you are saying?

Could you please tell us what other stories have played out before, and that are similar to DDD?
What type of analysis is so valuable, and which stocks specifically have been taken down?
If you have actual evidence I would like to hear it. Otherwise you come off as a shill for Mr House.
