I was born in 1956 in USSR. After graduation from college in 1979 I worked full-time as an IT specialist. Until 1990 I worked for different companies in the Soviet military industrial complex. I created a small software business in 1991, which failed in 1993. I worked for Oracle Corp in 1995 in Moscow. In 1996 I moved to the US, where I continued working as an IT professional, which is still my main source of income. I became a US citizen in 2006 and started investing in 1998. I had an extremely successful 1998 and 1999, very bad 2000 and 2001, then recovered. I mostly invest in what I know, which means mostly high tech companies, but wouldn't discard any opportunity. I'm trying to make my performance better and share my thoughts in my blog Muddling Investor (http://muddlinginvestor.blogspot.com/).
Mark's mutual fund is launching December 15, 2011.
He is a self taught private investor who operates the website Fund My Mutual Fund (http://fundmymutualfund.com); a daily mix of market, economic, and stock specific commentary. Fascinated by the market since an early age, he discovered mutual funds as a teenager in the 80s and moved to equities by the mid 90s. The origin of the website is/was to leverage the power of the internet in developing a transparent track record to attract investors for his potential "long/short" mutual fund.
His equity focus is identifying secular growth trends and the companies most likely to benefit from these macro trends. Stocks are identified through fundamental analysis, although basic technical analysis is used in determining entry and exit points. With a degree in economics from the University of Michigan, a broader understanding of the economy as a whole, along with interpreting investor psychology, is also a major interest for Mark. To follow on Twitter, username: fundmyfund

Don Harmon is currently CEO / President of LiFeBATT, Inc. in Danville, Virginia. LiFeBATT was formed in 2007 and is a C-Corp. privately held Lithium-ion battery developer and storage systems engineering group. Our approach has always been to find the best materials and technology available and and we specialize in LiFeP04 - Lithium Iron Phosphate large format battery cells in both cylindrical and prismatic form factors. Lithium-ion Pack Design is more of an art form than the making & selling of individual Cells. Professional Battery Pack designers have already solved most of the problems that the DIY pack designer is still struggling with today. This is the driving force behind LiFeBATT, Inc. We constantly are upping our game - which means continued new versions of our BMS circuit boards and perfecting our cell-balancing technology. We also pay close attention to the QC requirements of cell matching when building our Battery Packs, including pre-sorting and pre-testing every individual cell, that goes into a LiFeBATT Battery Pack. We believe this is the proper way to insure that our customers are completely satisfied with our product and that LiFeBATT will be around long after our competition calls it a day. LiFeBATT is also a registered Licensee for Phostech Lithium approved materials used in the making of the cells for our Plug & Play battery packs.
