Thank you Art for your thorough debunking of BenRab's bogus article. Now it appears that Ben is going dark and rightly so, I for one am hoping that his credibility is damaged and his future posts are very carefully scrutinized.

Hard to fathom that someone with his bogus credentials and assumptions could impact the value of prudent investments everywhere.

SA should welcome a rebuttal as detailed bullet by bullet as you have provided. I thank you.

I don't understand, you mean you don't sit down and write a negative article every time you decide a stock has topped out and could go lower, I thought everyone did. If the market momentum doesn't take the share price down, I feel obligated to help take it down! Really now!

I think if I were the governor of a province or the mayor of Shanghai, and it came to me to favor a city company for EVs, I would be picking the Ev company favored by the party! Just might be the safe way to go, just saying, things work a little different in China.

Excellent post Luca. The Kandi business plan, to build their EV business city by city, seems very logical and efficient. Looking at the overall Chinese market, the level of air pollution combined with an evolving need for individual, affordable, clean transportation. I am struck by the massive opportunity for EV sales and leasing in China, the potential for growth into huge metropolitan provinces is over whelming. Add the support and incentives provided by the PRC. What is wrong with this picture? If I were playing a short hand in this game I would call no bets and fold my cards immediately.

Incidentally a Joint Venture occurs between entities, who structure a partnership to pursue a specific business, it does not restrict the ongoing business of either partner nor does it restrict the pursuit of future opportunities that do not conflict with the JV, (obviously subject to the JV agreement of the partners) Kandi is smart to build a parts and battery business, even if their present customer is only their JV partner. Who knows where this road will lead. Parts and batteries could well become a giant enterprise outside of the JV.

Wow, trusting soul it seems! Call Morgan Stanly or GS they have much more on the line, they probably did some DD! YOU THINK? Great stories, but I'm coming to the conclusion that integrity is not a strength of short players.

I'm sure that MS calls BenRab everyday to get a reread on the Kandi financials. Give me a break!

Turkey, as a shareholder in Kandi, I search the wires every day for any news of the company. Not only is news difficult to find, but I have not read anything that seems puffed coming from the company.
Analyst have touted the QoQ sales growth but I have yet to read any release from the company that I considered to be exaggerated.

Arthur, I agree. The pattern of the shorts is vey similar and old tune replayed frequently to the financial benefit of the short players.
They scour over filings of the company to identify some alleged scam, then attempt to get the publicity need to pull down the share price.
The battery pack business seems a very logical business effort. In the event competition comes with nuts and bolts, there's and established battery company selling batteries to the market, not just to a JV partner.

If you created a scam battery subsidiary in order to make your financials positive, why would you not build in a profit for you JV partner to pay you and create another paper illusion and just pass the revenue from one pocket to the other.
In every scenario you can paint the picture in numerous ways to create any appearance that benefits you.
I will state unequivocally, many better educated eyes than Ben's have dug deep into the these filings.
I am reminded of GMCR and all the "dishonest" statements' and business
dealings aimed at Green Mountain Coffee. The Einhorn's and the Anton's repeated the same accusations for years, using every media avenue that would tolerate them. This is the same crap all over again

The success of alternative energy in Germany? Energy consumers are living with huge increases in power bills, the Government is building Coal fired plants to replace nuclear. Sounds as if the greens are scratching their heads as to why with the Trillion dollars dedicated to alternatives over the past 25 years, that coal is now the dependable source of energy!

once again the downside of government decisions and taxpayer funding find a home on the backs of taxpayers and consumers, but the intentions were good, sorry it didn't work out as we planned. However if we just focus more taxpayer dollars we can fix it.

I recommend France meet with Germany to revisit that concept. The transition from Nuclear reactors to alternative fuels, not only resulted in some of the world's highest energy bills to consumers, but is now bringing Germany back to coal fired energy. Go figure!

The extreme fear that people spew without any basis what ever. none of those doomsday events has ever occurred, yet some still fashion their conclusions around supposed catastrophic event that may occur someday.

We have nuclear ships and Submarines at sea for 60 years now, no smoke stack required. Nimitz class nuclear carriers refuel every 25 years! Give me a break!
