  • Great Western Minerals Group Valuation Is Not So Great [View article]
This article is well written nonsense.

The most respected voice in the rare earth sector is Jack Lifton.

Listen to Mr. Lifton's truly enlightening interview from earlier this week on the Canadian Business Network.

He highlights Great Western as one of the top tier rare earth companies.

With all due respect, Mr. Lifton's opinion counts a bit more than the author of this article.

  • China Small Cap Stocks: Should You Buy, Sell, Or Simply Stay Away? [View article]
In 2008 they told us we were crazy for buying up the US traded China stock sector.

The sector had been demolished even more so then the general market in the carnage.

Now, in 2011 we are seeing history repeat itself and the same investors that missed the 2008 opportunity are about to miss it again.

The hysteria extant in the sector is in reality a golden second chance to reap out sized rewards.

The difference between now and 2008 however is that many of these companies are vastly larger, using top tier auditors and have uplisted to senior exchanges.

The shorts have done the sector a favor in the long run. Forcing a cleansing of some shoddy book keeping and a tightening of compliance issues just as many of these companies are generating enormous revenues.

Imo, do not be surprised to see some prominent shorts go long in the sector and say so via SeekingAlpha and other venues as well.

The smart move is for them to pick out some beaten up gems and point out the long value.

Now is the time for a " Nixon Goes To China" moment from some savvy shorts. The first well known short player to do that is going to make a lot of money.

In addition, a smart CFO would invite some of these shorts in to get a complete picture of operations.

My father had a term for this.

" Better to have the camel inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in"...............How true.

    Great article.

Imo, Mimvi, (MIMV.OB) may be the single best mobile related stock to own going forward.

Just a great play. Flat out

  • The Great China Bubble and Why It Will Collapse [View article]
Detroit and China have exactly one thing in common.

They are both located on planet earth.

Other than that there is no parallel.

The population of Detroit has dropped and the city has collapsed for reasons your radical leftist professors either do not understand or are too politically correct to mention.

The best thing that could happen to Detroit is for 2 million Chinese to move in and take it over.

The economy would be thriving and you could also go out to pick up a bottle of milk at the corner grocery without risking your life.

  • The Myth of Underperforming Chinese Reverse Mergers [View article]
Bravo Rames for a tour de force performance with the numbers.

A truly important article and the first real punch back at the cabal of liars and scheming shorts that have attacked and severely wounded some very good investments.

That being said, I do dispute this portion of your great article:

"No serious investor puts their money in any of the many questionable China-based penny stocks on the OTC/BB or pinks, and most of them went public via reverse mergers. Just like you wouldn't choose any of the OTC-quoted U.S. penny stocks if you seriously intended to invest in technology or mining and metals."

On the contrary, there are many very strong US traded China otcbb stocks that are great investments. In addition, in the last few weeks many of the otcbb and pink sheet rare earth stocks are turning in scorching performances.

But that critique is small change in relation to the larger point you have made in smashing to pieces the received "wisdom" of the Barrons article.

In reality, the Barrons article is just another bomb thrown on behalf of an organized group of unscrupulous thieves and charlatans masquerading as financial professionals

While you were busy watching the useless Zack's site many WYY investors have been watching the link below.

Its the $600 million dollar Department of Homeland Security contract that WYY won and is now about to be reissued after a losing bidder filed a protest.

A hat tip to the shorts.

Great job today of hammering the stock.

A strong opportunity to pick up some shares on the cheap for some smart folks.

The article is total nonsense but it worked like a charm and that is what counts in this game.

  • China Small Cap Stocks: Should You Buy, Sell, Or Simply Stay Away? [View article]
Digging in on an investment thesis is almost always a road to disaster, long or short.

Imo, the first well known short to go long a few good names will see a very big and very quick payday.

The second well known short to go long? Not so much.

Expect to see some prominent short siders use their new found notoriety to make some quick dough on the long side.

Lots of good names out there on sale thanks to their tenacity.

No sense driving a good stock into the basement if you are not going to join others on the way back to the penthouse.

As most would agree, greed trumps principle for the most part.

Expect the first well know short to flip at any time now on some of the very strong names in the sector.

NOTE: Certainly, I will be a buyer in the pre-market to get in early when that

  • U.S. Listed Chinese Stocks: Mistreated and Undervalued (Part 1) [View article]
Excellent points in a well thought out article.

In the long run the recent attacks in the sector are having a clensing effect, imo.

In the future investors will benefit from more transparency and tighter governance by companies.

In the meantime, there are some truly once in a generation buys out there like Universal Travel Group, (UTA).

Funds are scooping this stock up and on the verge of locking the float. They picked up the cheap shares in the wake of phony attacks that lowered the stock price.

Now, UTA, having addressed the bogus issues has not only survived but is much stronger for it.

My advice? make the short attacks work for you and buy a few gems like UTA and ride them back up. UTA is a 25.00 stock going forward that you can buy tomorrow for less than 8 bucks.

NOTE: Rival CTRP reports Sunday night and the numbers should be stellar. In particular UTA owners are waiting for the package deal numbers related to CTrip as a barometer of just how big UTAs numbers will be in their exploding package travel deal segment as well.

  • Hidden Gems in Strategic Metals [View article]
The single best rare earth stock to own right now is Medallion Resources.

The former CEO of Rare Earth Resources (REE), the highly regarded Dr. William Bird, is the CEO and founder of Medallion Resources, (MLLOF.PK)

Medallion Resources and Rare Earth Resources are partners on the very closely watched Eden Lake Project.

Imo, Medallion Resources will continue to gain momentum in coming weeks as investors come to understand the situation concerning MLLOF.PK.

Medallion Resources also trades in Canada as (MDL.V)

Thank you for a second conservative and well balanced report.

No doubt investors will find it reassuring & a validation of their investing thesis concerning WYY.

The prudent move is to buy and hold WYY as 2014 unfolds.

In addition, the incredible situation concerning the Target Stores computer break-in can only raise greater awareness in the type of security services that WYY provides in tandem with its many other offerings.

In closing, that was me in the comments that suggested your computer be

Since that post the stock is up over 25% much of it due to the intense brain power you brought to that article and the conservative nature of your conclusions.

In retrospect, maybe they should have impounded my computer and given you a second one, as a back up, for your top tier research.

Thank you & Happy New Year!

Thank you for the civil response to a rude!

My only excuse is that Zack's so enraged me with their WYY idiocy that I had an anger transference to you when you brought it up.

Sorta like saying "Susquehanna" to Lou Costello's cellmate in that episode where he is in jail...........:)

    My apology and happy investing!

The "overbought" nonsense came from a computer generated blurb by the idiotic Zacks.

Why would you even bother quoting that venue.

If you take Zacks seriously you should have your computer impounded and your online trading account turned over to a legal guardian.

  • New CEO Should Right InVivo's Ship [View article]
I am surprised that the former CEO & InVivo have not had their asses sued for the inflated claims and, perhaps, outright lies that were put out there in the national media, including Fox Business News.
The former CEO was selling 12,000 shares a day into the hype he created.
Thats $72,000 dollars a DAY at its height.
Many investors lost their ass on this stock and it must be said that Dr. Langer is also culpable. He damn well knew what the former CEO was up to and did nothing to reign him in. In effect, he threw Reynolds under the bus and took no responsibility himself.
All in all, one of the most disgraceful episodes in recent memory.
Perhaps CEO Reynolds will surface soon fronting one of the ChiScams that are looking for a mouth piece, Although his act might be too brazen, even for them.
At this point I am wondering if the monkey in the video was actually a hirsute Vern Troyer on hiatus from his Mini-Me movie roll.
    A sickening disgrace
