I'm long AA. It's in my NOT DEAD ONLY SLEEPING graveyard. However if China revives its economy, and the domestic demand for Alumina increases it may be poised to "breakout." I plan to HOLD.
12/31/2102 Merrill NEUTRAL C-2-8 Morningstar BUY S&P BUY.. Thanks! GWBJ. WENT TO SLEEP.

  • Alcoa: An Overlooked Resource Company With 80% Upside [View article]
5/31/1202 $8.5 Merrill C-2-8 Neutral Morningstar BUY S&P HOLD. I hope you are right. I want to sell mine. They have E. Stanley Oneal on the board. He was President of Merrill Lynch when they went down, and BAC saved them from bankruptcy. He bought up $117,000,000,000 toxic bonds which he couldn't sell to his friends and clients. Thanks! GWBJ.

  • Alcoa: Buy Now And Add On Chinese Supply Cuts [View article]
In my last Merrill CMA account it was rated Merrill C-2-8 NEUTRAL Morningstar BUY S&P HOLD. Purchased 1/4/2010 @ $16.12. Price 5/31/2012 $8.55. It is one of my biggest losers. It has gone nowhere but down. The Y is 1.8%. Jim Cramer recommended this stock as the biggest surprise of the year. I was surprised. He also recommended SYS @ $30 and it's $28(remember). He put John Chambers on the wall of shame(CSCO). Cramer has diarrhea of the mouth (glosso-lallia) and has become a real pain in the rear on Squawk On The street. I wish they'd replace him with Cheetah (Tarzan's monkey). GWBJ.

  • Alcoa: Buy The World's Biggest Aluminum Producer At A Bargain Price [View article]
Remember the Mafia Chief in The Sopranas that had the fat wife and daughter. He caught her eating candy bars in the basement.
Well, owning AA is like married to a fat wife. You keep hoping for a miracle. Thanks! GWBJ.

  • Why Alcoa Could Be 2012's Top Stock [View article]
AA was my first mistake listening to James Cramer. After a lousy year , it dropped down half price, and I'm praying for the resurrection. He finally put the black spot on CHK, and the other day he sicked the bears on XOM. It's rumored that E. Stanley O'Neal is on the Board of AA.. E. Stanley bought up $117,000,000,000 worth of toxic bonds while President of the now defunct Merrill Lynch, and their stock dropped from $60 down to $5, and BAC with a gun to their head bought them out and saved them from bankruptsy. I was on a cruise in the Sea of Japan at the time, and when I got home my wife was in surgery for a fractured hip, Merrill, AIG, C, and WA in my IRRA all went broke, and we elected Senator Basrack Obama president. That was my last cruise. I am waiting for the US Attorney General to send E. Stanley a subpoena and get that tax payer's $__,000,000 termination bonus back. They gave Sallie Kresneck a $6,000,000 termination bonus for being President of BACML only two years. WOW! I don't think they have a President now. Everybody just does their thing. Sorry! GWBJ.

  • Alcoa: Poor Performing DJIA Stock Appears To Be Bottoming [View article]
I own AA because my advisory services recommended BUY, and Jim Cramer very dramatically predicted AA would be the surprise stock of the year. AA is already disproportionately lower than the market. Merrill's analyst quit. So they don't have an opinion . Morningstar stresses UNCERTAINTY and S&P used a US GDP of 1.9% and a Global GDP of 3.1% for 2012. WOW! AA depends on its markets. Value Line gave it a B+3. WE used to have an expression about a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. Right now all my stocks are down, and I am mentally kicking my butt. GWBJ.

  • Why Aluminum Leader Alcoa Is a Compelling Investment [View article]
" AA is a great place to meet men," a nurse once told me. She met her 5th at AA meetings.

Cramer has made a big deal out of recommending AA as the biggest surprise stock of the year. He's repeated that recommendation again since.

    AA Merrill 6/15/2011 $15.41 UNDER REVIEW P/E 22 Beta 1.47 Y 0.78% Morningstar 3 star HOLD FMV $19 Buy @ $11.40 S&P 4 star BUY. Value Line: B+ 2 /3/ 2 3-5 year Price target. $30/$20 Expected to out perform the market Volatile. Ole'. GWBJ.

  • Alcoa: Sell Off Presents a Buying Opportunity [View article]
Over the years I've accumulated AA in the 14-16 range. So far it's made me nothing. Jim Cramer selected AA as the number one upside surprise of the year. Merrill selected APC (Anadarko Pete) as number one best stock of year. I forget who, but somebody on this board selected ST as the one stock to own. So far I haven't bought ST yet, but I'm watching for dip. About 20 years ago, Elaine Garzarella named Campbell Soup, and it hasn't moved out of the $35 range on the upside. It's tough being number One. Cheers! GWBJ.

  • Earnings Season: Beware of Management Guidance [View article]
Well! You're title implies that some boss might be lying to cover his ass and please his stock holders, if not, for a little while. Everybody lies!
Even J. C. (Jim Cramer) and Barack Obama. Could you imagine what the world would be like if everybody went around telling the truth. Terrible! Even your pastor and the Pope lie(especially the Pope). Everybody is born in sin we inherited from the tainted sperm of Adam and everybody sins. All you have to do is accept Jesus, believe he was resurrected from the grave(Easter Sunday), and get Baptized. Once saved, always saved! You say,why are you typing this on a business board? Because, precious, religion is the biggest tax free non profit business in the world. We Baptist believe the King James Bible is TRUTH from cover to cover, 100% God's word.

It's hard to know whom to believe! Merrill Lynch rates DOW a C-3-7 SELL, and the President of DOW promises a pittance dividend increase. All the retirees and old folks celebrate because they will get an increase in their dividend check. What about Cola? Not Coca Cola! You can get that with food stamps. The cost of living raise to Social Security recipients to adjust for inflation. Our government is Trillions in debt. I think that was an excellent graph in the paper above. Study it closely. You could write a modern history from it. Who, what, and when!

According to the law literature and psycologists who study and write papers, eye witness testimony is worthless, just plain ordinary people lie 95% of the time, and everybody lies on the witness stand. I'm not kidding. I swear on a stack of Bibles. Now Bernie Madoff, Bernie Worldcom, Ken Lay(?), E. Stanley O'Neal, The management at Goldman's, AIG, Lehman, Solomom, Arthur Anderson, Merrill, and on and on and on. I admired Dr. Robert Rubin's honesty, " I sent them a memo explaining if they were going to take on additional risk-------------). According to Senator Levin, he has proof of criminal intent by members of Goldman. If he's not lying, then that information should be turned over to the Attorney General of the United States for Due Process and prosecution so they can go keep Bernie Madoff company. No cell phone in jail please and no connubial visits by $5000 call girls, please. Happy Easter! GWBJ.
