  • What Tim Cook Must Do To Turn Apple Around, 2013 Vs. 2016  [View article]
Tim Cook is to Apple as Steve Balmer was to Microsoft. Enterprise Cloud, Virtual/ Augmented Reality, Electric Cars, Online Streaming, IoT and Big Data is where the growth is and that's where FANG and Microsoft are winning. The market is treating the stock the way it is because the management team is doing a lousy job providing nothing new or exciting except the buybacks and dividends. That clearly shows that the company is running out of ideas. For how long can you keep tweaking the same product (iPhone) which is a commodity now? You already have a big screen iPhone now which worked back in 2012-13.

Tim Cook is doing exactly what Albert Einstein said defined insanity—doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results: http://on.mktw.net/1nY...

  • Amazon Crash Could Be Last Chance To Get In  [View article]
...well, the point this so called "frantic obvious stock market newbie" is trying to make investing for past 20+ years is 1) NO stock can keep climbing forever and no stock would ever reach the sky... and AMZN is not and will never be an exception and 2) the big bulls make the money, the big bears make the money and pigs get slaughtered!!

BTW that's exactly the kind of response was expected from Gary J! :)

"For those of you who have been questioning the Amazon story, this is probably your last chance to get on the ride". Really??? Down 33 points to 583 right now!!

EVERY stock would come down at some point. No stock can keep climbing forever and no stock would ever reach the sky! Few years ago it was MSFT then GOOGL, then AAPL, then TSLA and now AMZN and NFLX.

    Read this: http://bit.ly/1l6Rc9V

Disclosure: I own ALL these stocks mentioned above.

Can't wait to see response from Gary J and Dana! :)

  • Apple With A 10% Yield  [View article]
AAPL at $140?? Keep dreaming....May not happen ever unless AAPL either invest or innovate in Cloud, Streaming Media, Social Media and/or Big Data. Currently apple is ZERO in these areas of growth. That's where FANG and MSFT are winning and AAPL is losing. How long a company of this size can survive on one product for long time in technology? The current stock price is holding up just on buybacks and dividend. There's absolutely no growth or innovation at apple.

Disclosure: Frustrated AAPL shareholder for more than 5 years!!

  • Apple: The Music Will Stop Eventually  [View article]
    Fully agree with Diesel.

Also AAPL is in the areas like mobile, payments, appstore, cloud, content, streaming, auto etc.. (with LOTS and LOTS of Cash) those keep growing, though quite competitive. Agreed that in some of those areas like cloud and online streaming it may not be leading right now but one right investment or an outright buyout with all that cash would simply CHANGE the music - for EVERYONE - not STOP it!!

    @HiloBeMagical, this is hilarious :)

OMG, one of the BEST comments I have ever read on SA!!!!! Funny but so true!!

I have been riding AAPL ride for past seven years and seen all these in the past back in 2012/13 when series of analysts (including those of BoA) downgraded AAPL due to "growth" concerns, Tim Cook, iPhone etc etc. They all looked fool then and they all gonna look fool 9-12 months from now!!

AAPL @ $9.50?? That was in 2005, around 10 years ago!! So what you claim is true - which I doubt - that you're holding it for $9.50, then IT IS a buy it and forget it retirement portfolio stock!!!!
