Young, novice investor aiming to develop a portfolio with majority dividend growth allocation and some aggressive growth allocation, with equity selections in these categories based upon fundamental analysis, and the remaining small percentage of the portfolio devoted to active trading based upon technical analysis.
Hi, I'm a 26 year old investing and economics enthusiast with a passion for anything and everything surrounding the financial markets. I was raised by my father on the premise that "knowledge is power" and have used that theory to continually develop my understanding of the securities industry. Growing up my father only trusted himself to manage his and our family's assets and that had a major influence on me.
Just a little bit about myself. I graduated from the Walton College at the University of Arkansas in the spring of 2007 with a degree in Finance. Since then I have spent time as an equity research analyst for the largest investment advisory firm in Arkansas, worked in institutional fixed income sales for a regional investment bank, and most recently as an associate in the Private Client Group for the largest investment banking firm off Wall Street. My inherent interest in economics and investing is what drives me to never stop learning.
With that said if anyone is interested in sharing ideas, brainstorming, and/or engaging in general conversation feel free to shoot me a message.
