Good question. The author has presented statistical facts and concludes "Looking ahead to 2010, I expect Russia will have considerable difficulty remaining the top performer. I would not be surprised to see Brazil eclipse the bunch, followed by India and a resurgent China.", with no explanation or reasons for these opinions. I hope the author will revisit his posting and provide support for his opinions.

Clearly you are a technical analyst and not a long term holder based on fundamental trends. Nothing wrong with that, but it seems to me these ETFs still have a lot of upside based on the inevitable emerging market infrastructure buildout. JMHO
