I've been an investor in stocks as well as a buyer and writer of options for more than 20 years. My research may begin almost anywhere, from tips I've received to my favorite method, which is reading the S & P reports and discovering companies in the peer group of the one I was actually researching. Often, it's these companies, the peers, that turn out to be far superior to the ones being touted by tipsters.

In addition to being a very active trader, I am also a teacher of Advanced Math, an accomplished sports artist (see my work at www.paulmalc.com ), and I do guest spots as a statistician for the Green Bay Packers.

I guess you could say that numbers are my life.
