Caveat Emptor: The Energy Balance of Snake Oil

Great article, should help a lot of people. I'm at the University of Limerick and our Biomass team have been approached by people to look at a number of companies. There certainly are a lot of scams out there! One group said they could make diesel from meat and bone meal, they turned up with their "state of the art reactor" which turned out to be a deep fat fryer! They also said they couldn't make an attendance at our biomass meeting because they were under a hostile $200m takeover (of course nothing of the sort was happening).
