    My pleasure, WT.

I discovered Mises about five years ago and feel it has contributed greatly to my growth as a thinker and lover of justice and freedom.

I do not agree with all opinions expressed there, but I respect the writers and editors for providing such a wide range of ideas and being tolerant of differences.

I have been meaning to get Stockman's book, because I may not share all his opinions, but he has been a Washington insider that can give a depth of perspective that few can.

(MDXG) I don't recall if I mentioned this company last week, but it is on my radar and I started a position last week.

    Today's news is extremely positive:

Very impressive outcome in a strong scientific study design.

This could become a new "standard of care."

    D-inv,

This will not likely get reported in the MSM, but Americans are beginning to wake up to the reality of nefarious government activities:

    VW,

My non-meatspace life is lived on an iPad4 with AT&T unlimited connectivity (grandfathered). I use a ClamCase keyboard cover, so it basically functions as a replacement for my laptop. I only open my MacBook Pro when I wish to edit my photo collection in Aperture. Otherwise, everything I wish to do outside of regular job stuff is easily done on the iPad. And even much of my work communication is via the Outlook connectivity built into the Apple system, so I can use my iPad for keeping up with email. I carry it with me everywhere in a man-purse. I can connect it in my car and use it as a large-screen GPS and music management system.

I am forced to use a Windoze machine to access my network and patient-care records at work, so part of my day involves that constant frustration. If the company would allow me to access wirelessly from my iPad, it would be a blessed relief in a job that involves running around multiple programs for administrative and clinical work in a large agency spread across the metro region.

I admit to being a long-time Apple "fanboy." But it is because they make the easiest to use and most versatile products, that anybody can learn to use fairly quickly.

I know you are retired, and don't have to worry about dealing with corporate networks and their IT bureaucracy (I am envious). But try an iPad with a keyboard case, and you may well quit lugging that laptop around.

    geopark,

    You are welcome.

Your plan sounds excellent, and not unlike mine.

According to today's SEC filing, I calculated that I own >0.1% of Axion, and it is in my sock drawer and begging for more.

I am still hopeful that this can make a meaningful dent in mortgage and college for my teenagers.

    Nary a word in MSM.

"Podesta: Unlike the last time we had a national conversation about the NSA and domestic surveillance during the days of "warrantless wiretapping" in 2005, a legal framework exists today to support PRISM and the other programs. Therefore, the challenge is not rooted in the NSA overstepping its legal boundaries."

He artfully sidesteps the core issue, that the American public questions the constitutional "legality" of the secret framework that supports warrantless NSA surveillance. Typical administration subterfuge.
