Canadian Natural Resources Sees First Welcome Cash from Horizon [View article]
Road Runner: You obviously don't know who Kurt Wulff is......and are unfamiliar with his very expensive independent McDep Oil and Gas Investment Research.
He's not trying to impress you. On Seeking Alpha we are getting his month old stock notices that his subscribers pay big bucks to receive a month earlier. If you don't understand them, I hardly think that's his fault.

Before you buy any MLP, check on what can happen if you own them in an IRA. I'm not a tax accountant, so I'm not the one who should explain it. It is very easy to find out why you should not hold an MLP in an IRA....just google it and do a little research on your own.

Plug in your TV, VCR, DVD player and Cable Box to a power strip and turn the switch to off at night when you're through watching. Why pay to run your DVD and Cable Box all night?
Plug your Computer, speakers, printer, etc into a power strip and turn it off at night for the same reason.

Write to your congressmen. This article has a lot of good information that can be paraphrased in a good advocacy letter.

My Dividend Portfolio: The Good, The Bad [View article]
If you're a dividend investor, why are you still holding those stocks that have discontinued their dividends? Sell them and put your money to work. Buy MLP's that do storage and transportation such as ETP, EPD, PVR, MMP, making them less susceptible to energy prices. They are increasing their dividends.
The K1's are just not that big a deal.
Or some closed end funds, such as IGD and ERH faithfully pay dividends monthly.
Three Stocks That Pay Monthly Dividends [View article]
Not all monthly dividends paid out by Closed End Funds fluctuate. If the CEF has a managed distribution policy, the dividend is the same every month. There are dozens of CEF's that have monthly distribution policies. This article names only three of them, when there are many many many more. Check out etfconnect.com or the Closed End Fund Association website: cefa.com

I also wonder why executives are not getting on the bandwagon for natural gas trucks and busses. Natural gas is an excellent interim reduction on our importation of foreign oil, buying us time to develop and implement cleaner alternatives. If we can't get enough natural gas from the US then at least we can import it from Canada...much better than from the middle-east!
I'm going to read HR 1835, and write to my congressmen. It's so easy to do these days using the internet.
