Gold’s 'Grand' Illusion

"When the day of reckoning arrives..." as the author wrote, the standard will be gold and any new currency that may come to replace the dollar will be backed by gold. I believe the dollar is deliberately being allowed to tank and gold to rise so that we can eventually replace the dollar with a new gold backed currency. So he who has the gold will have the edge on the new economic order.
