  • Differing Outlooks On The Market [View article]
    Hey Chowder,

Thanks for the reply. It's been interesting to follow your strategy in 2015, where you seem to moving down the dividend yield ladder and up the dividend growth ladder. I understand that it's because you have your base of quality, but as someone who is younger than your son, it's an interesting turning point for the portfolio. Just as a question, it seems to me that you are also moving down on the quality ladder (ULTA doesn't have a quality ranking by Morningstar or S&P, while BWLD only has a B+ from S&P), and if that is also an intended thing, i.e. once the base is in you take more risk while you are ahead of schedule. Thanks as always for the help and guidance.

Hey Chowder, I know you've always been a fan of letting your winners run. Just wanted a little clarification on why you're changing your philosophy here. I understand that they are +2x a full position, I've just seen you defend the strategy in the past. Thanks as always!

After their preannoucement I expected them to say something about the strong dollar. Any idea what this number would have looked with a "constant currency" type announcements?

Interesting that DCG had $1.7bn in profit while the CCG had $1.3bn. Time to start thinking of intc as a server company rather than a pc company? (And yes I know the mobile business is killing the CCG, but still)
