I just wanted to know how you manage short SPY trades using SDS calls ?
I remember, you mentioned in y'day' report that you bought SDS calls. Now, we get a day like this only to see mkt reversing all the fall. How do you adjust your short trade (using SDS) then?
Also, I feel that if we go well above 1600+, then we might attract some selling. But, thats my opinion. We aren't that far from 1600 anyways.

In general, just wanted to know if premium services of optionmonster are good? There is always free trial, but anyone using them for longer period can give better idea.
What a day ! What a tweet ! I am so surprised that whole mkt closed up 1% despite PMI nos. bad across the world. Still, mkt continues to go up..Its just unbelievable.
I am very happy that I didn't buy any strangle/straddle in$AAPL. Wow, after all hype, stock was in red. I won't be surprised it stock touches recent lows. (385-390) Guidance is bad, margins are weaker, no new product news..Only buyback/capital return plan has saved the stock, IMO. I did call fly in $CREE and put fly in $YUM. But,it looks both stocks are gonna move exactly opposite of what I anticipated. :( :(
Maybe, time for bear spreads in $AAPL tomorrow ! Hope, it works for me. :)

Stock was already up 7% in regular hours and another 24% is crazy to say least. Maybe somebody new something beforehand. There was a trade of 2000 contracts of 210 calls being bought.
whats your take on $AAPL? another nflx kind of reaction. :) Do you think double diagonals will work on $AAPL? i mean,with weekly options expiring this friday. I know, its crazy to read rumors about Cook being replaced.

IMO, results are probably bad, that's why management might announce some sort of buy-back or dividend hike to cushion fall post earning. This is why they most likely didn't announce their plans with Cash pile last month. Obviously, they don't want to waste that announcement when they might have had bad qtr.

Tomorrow promises to be very interesting day, with IBM numbers missing expectations, stock was down more than 3.5% in AH. It has high weight on index but probably MSFT and GOOG will balance out IBM's -ve impact. Both posted good number and were up in in AH. I must admit, this is very resilient market and its not going to go down that easily.
VXX and VIX activity today is very confusing and surprising.
It was action packed day. $AAPL lead the decline from the front. It dropped like a rock below 415. When I saw it at 416, then I bought put spreads of 410/405 at strikes. After that,it just went downhill. It looks like stock is heading below 400 before results. Tomorrow $VZ report pre-market, their Iphone activations may shed some light on $AAPL numbers.
Would you mind sharing,if you are short outright or via puts on $AAPL? Also, plz share your outlook on $AAPL?
Your $SNDK trade looks kinda complex. $SNDK was super volatile in AH.
