  • "We believe that Apple (AAPL) will launch the iPhone 5S at China Mobile (CHL) this July, as it launches the next iteration of the iPhone globally," writes Wedge Partners' Brian Blair, without elaborating on his sources. The remarks come a little less than 3 months after Apple and China Mobile signed a confidentiality agreement. Blair sees a 5S model supporting China Mobile's TD-SCDMA 3G network likely entering production in May. (WSJ report[View news story]
Company doesn't say anything !! Sources are cited everywhere. I wish, management come out and announce something which will stop bleeding of shareholders and reward them with special dividend or buyback plan...

seriously frustrated with $AAPL and losses ! though I can't blame anyone for my decisions...

  • Commodity Chart Of The Day: Silver - $26 Is The Line In The Sand [View article]
Matt, I appreciate your articles. Your recent calls on oil and cocoa were very good.
Well maybe sentiment is very negative and price action has been very damaging. However, I don't think it has reached extreme negative yet. Jim Roger and many other commodity bulls/gurus haven't turned bear yet. Maybe, we should wait before taking plunge in. Even in after hours, both $GLD and $SLV sold off.

IMO, we forget the parabolic rise gold has seen since mid 2010. Also, silver rose from $19 to $48 in very short period of time, how many people talked about market manipulation at that time. I am not PM bear. No asset can outperform consistently.

  • Intel Continues To Prove Naysayers Wrong [View article]
INTC is a good company with good dividend yield. But, price target which you have given in earlier articles are very lofty, IMO.

Maybe,we are jumping the gun. We should wait for earnings and management commentary. There are many complex variables at play and landscape is dynamic and changing continuously.

thnx for article. you are uber-bullish on INTC,it seems.

  • Dennis Gartman: Technicals Say Gold Could Hit $900 [View article]
Forget Gartman ! He changes his opinion every day !

IMO, plz don't watch or listen him ! One day, he calls gold as trouble and next day, he calls it "watershed moment n see it going up by $300-$400 by year end ! "

I wonder, how people subscribe to his letters !

  • Gold slips another 2.5% in evening trade to $1,181 per ounce. Silver falls 1.2% to $18.34. [View news story]
Well,no one complained when it was going up to dizzying heights? Back then, gold bugs were busy debating whether gold will go to $2500 or $3000 !

$1100 isn't a low price ! Let it crash to three digits !

  • Gold And Silver - Not As Precious As Last Week [View article]
thnk God, I had puts on $GLD and $SLV. IMO, pain isn't over yet. Major banks are on short side now. Plus momentum is on downside. There will be capitulation and more margin calls, before dust settles.

Well, finally much needed correction in this precious metals. Please don't forget the way gold and silver ramped up to record levels in short period. No wonder, sell-off is lot faster too. Weren't some people giving targets of $2500 on gold and $75 on silver not too long back?

  • Ready for the "iRing"? After meeting with hardware suppliers in China and Taiwan, Brian White believes Apple (AAPL) will launch a TV this year with a ring accessory allowing a user to control the set by pointing their finger. White also sees the iTV coming with a 9.7" mini iTV screen to be used for things such as home security, phone calls, and video conferencing. [View news story]
The moment we see the word " we/he/she believe", its all unfounded and baseless. All rumours !!

Didn't we have hear enough rumours about special dividend and what not last month on anniversary of AAPL dividend and buyback plan?

On contrary, I believe this is desperate attempt by sell-side analysts to prop the stock considering far too distant target price of AAPL shares

Dont trust any of these rumours !

Ackman claimed his position isn't leveraged on CNBC. He might hv just Puts long & no futures...Who knows, he might hv booked profits as well when stock crashed on fake news of investigation before recovering at close that day...
This seems more of Ego Battle than company fundamentals..Both are baying for blood now...let them fight it out...Both are big guys with deep pockets...

People should stay away from HLF

  • Charting Apple's Relative Underperformance [View article]
2 highlighted points at the end of article are gem ! Thnx for it.

The worst part is Tim Cook n team is still actively discussing about Cash Pile. Its frustrating for shareholders to see shares sinking.
Its also likely that probably results are bad, hence they will announce some dividend/buyback on earnings day to cushion downfall.

Maybe, its time for people to stay out of this stock until some clarity emerges.

  • "We're in a highly levered economy where households can't afford to pay much more interest," writes Bill Gross, noting monthly payments on a 30-year mortgage have jumped 20-25% since January and mortgage applications have plummeted 39% in 2 months. He's not buying Bernanke's tough talk given the reality of our economy and the chairman's "helicopter" reputation. "Investors selling Treasurys (TLT, TBT) in anticipation the Fed will ease out of the market might be disappointed." [View news story]
Maybe, Gross should beg Bernanke for another (eternal) QE !

Gross sounds like he is already feeling the pain of higher rates ! This guy runs biggest bond fund in the world, Will he ever say that rates should go up? Never !
With due regards to him,he is always giving his dooms-day forecasts all the time !
Maybe, he went long TLT recently and is getting hurt !

  • Gold: I Hate To Say I Told You So, But I Told You So [View article]
Exactly, my point is the same as @WMARKW !

i was short during the last gold, silver plunge ! sadly, didn't have courage this time ! I didn't know about this $DUST etf before.

IMHO, gold looks all set to test 1200 levels ! Lets see, how it goes. This gold/silver bubbles has clearly burst. I am not sure if we will see 1000 levels becoz they say miners will stop production if gold goes below $1150-1200.
