  • Recro Pharma: An Overlooked Opportunity With Disproportionate Risk/Reward [View article]
Thanks AvetCap, There is another old one I like to throw out...

Market timing can be a cruel mistress.

Lol, need to get out of another trade first, but it wont be long. As far as the run up boys, I was thinking the exact same thing. They will be all over this one.

    Happy trading

Nice summary. Pretty much agree with your take on the company. Kind of surprising that they would run Dex as a replacment to morphine, but that is water under the bridge. Buying here at this valuation almost looks too good to be true. FDA is looking hard at alternatives to opiates. No SAEs is also a big plus. No position yet, but on watch for an entry point. The volume of late has been pathetic.

  • Stellar Biotechnologies: We've Seen The Pump, Now Here Comes The Dump [View article]
Good points, the Sigma issue is a concern. Would love to see what pro money would have said about the Sigma buy out. I am sure it was because they are a liquid metal supplier. lol

Great Job here. I once owned shares in SBOTF, but couldn't sell fast enough after i saw the pro money "liquid metal" video. My favorite part was the claim that the facility was guarded 24 hours a day by US Marines! Thanks to @BuyersStrike for tweeting the link before it was shut down. I am happy to see that you agree with my opinion that the company is a victim in this mess. Also agree that the company has long term potential.

  • Cytokinetics: Will The FDA Agree To A New Phase 3 Trial For Tirasemtiv? [View article]
Larry, thanks for the reply. Sounds like many, you haven't seen this news. Pretty typical for Cytokonetics to sweep something like this under the rug.

Blum has been talking about partnering Tirasemtiv for years. It isn't going to happen.

Just curious Larry, what are your thoughts on Amgen dealing the European commercial rights to Omecamtiv away?

  • Update: LPath Clinical Trial Results [View article]
"They have not yet found another company to purchase the rights, so the partnership is for right now in limbo for LPath."

I know the situation with Pfizer is confusing, but this is very misleading. The only thing in limbo is who the Isonep partner is, not the (half billion dollar) partnership itself. Also, I have not seen anything that states the Asonep right of refusal is up for sale. The company has stated, that if anyone wants to partner Asonep, then they have to give Pfizer the chance to match the offer.

Yes, totally agree JP. I never liked Blum, but stuck around for OM. After this, I trust him about as far as I can throw him. Wait... I wonder how far I could throw him? Huuuuummmmm...

I would add, I want to wait and see just how good the Novartis heart failure drug works. I suspect it works well as the study was stopped early.

Zoinks! LOL That was some serious carnage. Not buying yet. There is plenty of time for that. Nothing on the horizon for a while for the company and I need let some other trades play out. Its ugly out there. Take care!

  • Xencor Inc.: Current Biotech Uncertainty Is An Opportunity [View article]
Ha! this article has been out all day and no one has commented yet? Seems to be pretty typical for this company. Very few traders/investors, at least in the circles I frequent know or talk about XNCR. I am puzzled by this considering everything that the company has going on and the eye popping list of institutional investors. Nice pick Daniel

Mike, I don't think you get the whole sustainable thing.
From Biosyn "Keyhole limpets can be up to 15 years old when our specially-trained divers borrow them from the permanently cool Californian coastal waters" So in other words, the divers go fishing. A wise man once told me that if fishing was easy they would call it catching. lol Also, there is the issue of dealing with the California Fish and Wildlife Department for them to continue the practice. http://bit.ly/1iOcnZ0

Growth Geek, I didn't know you bailed. I don't visit the board anymore, its totally out of control. Best of luck to you. I can say that I plan on riding my core position into the sunset. In my opinion there is huge upside here, but it is going to take a long term view.

Fincom, Thanks for the summary on our undiscovered gem.
