Congrats! You took the words right out of my mouth. Actually I said the same thing months ago. Valuation on CSCO has been all over the map if you consider the last twelve years. However, this was a growth story years ago. Rapid growth has been replaced by modest growth the last six-seven years. The company is also shareholder friendly as you noted in the dividend history.

There are many positives with this wonderful company. Two thumbs up to your article.

Doug Kass moves to his largest long exposure in 5 months, picking up SPY along with several well-known big caps. Catching his eye is the rise in long-term bond yields amidst gloomy earnings reports. It tells him there's plenty of pent-up demand in the economy once the fiscal cliff is worked. through.

Regarding the comment on Doug Kass buying large cap names: it's really not worthwhile even mentioning any change in positioning as he changes almost everyday. So, a week from now, he might have changed four times before going completely long again. I listened three weeks ago when he said that one couldn't own any stocks in this environment.

It's too crazy doing it on high vol securities unless you offset the risk. In any case it can be very time consuming. I have alerts going off all day for opportunities. Happy to discuss--

The article makes no sense, at least to me. AGNC is simply taking advantage of the steep curve. A change in interest rates would be necessary to warrant a sell signal. Shorting the most successful mortgage REIT is foolish and a doomed strategy. Listen to their conference call for some clarification. Listen to some of the feedback given above. This is a bad idea bro.

Music to my ears. I've been a shareholder since the late 90's. It makes perfect sense to buy stock if you're management. However, can we really trust the NAV as a good number? The NAV is a guess at what the portfolio is worth. The company still must preform by selling and managing assets and investing in deals which work. It's a powerful story with the stock trading at a 40% discount to what we believe is NAV.
