    This is old news, it has been suggested that the SEC be made a part of the FBI,
    ======================...
    It is very not unusual for Government enforcement agency. At the end its functions need to be reassigned to FBI or KGB or to whatever.
    More regulation?!

    We were there before.

    Calls for more regulation is a proof that existing laws were stopped from being applied

    History shows that we can spend our way out of an economy running at too slow a pace (think WWII spending).
    ======================...
    Different times and different spending

    Thing was not made in China. Money spent was spent directly on things produced by USA. Whole Warld was buying from USA
    From whom else.
    ROI is not the same.
    Current spending is more about of political returns than economical

    India is a democracy that is run by the people at the top for the people at the top
    ========================
    Besides pople at the top, India has also people are able run things for themselves without depending on the top to run things for them, which is multiple times proven in India even as in USA

    To simply refuse to consider government output of goods and services as real is absurd. We can argue advantages and disadvantages, but the absolutist view that since money has been transferred to government rather than to a private entrepreneur, then Poof!, it's gone, makes no sense.
    ======================...
    Since cost of government output of goods and services outpacing quantities/qualities of goods and services produced, grows of government GDP should not be ignored and considered even as bad cholesterol

    The bodies that pile up as a result of the machinations of the corporate empire -- didn't bother you so much when Dubya was the figurehead. Get over it.

    Reality has clearly been that the Teap Party has been the Democrats best friend. They couldn't have asked for a better present than some of the candidates they pushed to the forefront. I mean even Harry Ried owes his job to them.
    ======================...

    Mathematically speaking
    R+T=D
    Where R- republicans, T-tea party, D-Democrats

    Remove T and you got R=D, which is the same as D=R
    Does it matter D or R won in this situation ?

    I totally agree with you Paulo...I traded thru the dot.com days msft was a runaway train........now amzn has gone into orbit.....crm wow....and my aapl getting its &;$
    ======================...
    I have a little dif. memories. MSFT was litigated by DOJ at that time and priced modestly compare to others. There were hundreds others in this bubble but not MSFT.
    I agree that some elements of current market resemble millennium bubble. But it needs to become really creasy to be equal to that bubble

    The 20,000 (non-union, salaried) Delphi workers got shafted out of their pensions.
    Guess that's not good enough to satisfy your hate and disgust for the common working guy.
    You were better defending billionaires from the horrible and unfair estate tax.
    ======================...
    their pensions are paid by us(common working guys)
    they were set too hi in error
    we can not afford it

    I'm hoping they have considered ways to avoid "crashes". Imagine losing ALL THE WORLD'S DATA !!!!!. I'd hate to be the guy delivering that news to the boss !
    ======================...
    It is not easy to lose DATA .
    DATA is backed up on other computers in multiple location.
    It is backed up on tape
    To get rid of data on hard drive, it has to be electronically cleaned and then mecanically shreded
    for example:

    One one dynastic family owns it all and we are all sharecroppers and serfs on his global estate -- you will be there arguing against any estate tax, as that unfortunate Walton - like mogul would be subject to dreaded "double taxation". How cruel and unfair.
    ======================...
    It would be even more fair, if proceeds go to dynastic family employees instead of dynastic family's wanna be parasites

    Well, perhaps they should replace all those batteries with diesel generators running off good old-fashioned American oil, and see if the planes still manage to get off the ground.
    ----------------------...
    Some Techicals

    diesel generators are generators of energy
    batteries are storage of energy

    most likely they are working side by side
    generator converts fosil energy into electrical energy
    battary stores electrical energy for future consumption
    ======================...

    Or how can you say to Sir JAMES CARLINI

    Let me get the tiny particle out of your eye

    When there is the beam of timber in your own eye?

    I have received the flu shot every year for as long as I can remember and I have not had the flu yet.
    =========================
    Would it be unthinkable to consider possibility of you are being immune to flue shots?!

    Our ancestors are plague survivors

    according to you, Obama is a liberal.
    Why would a 'liberal' do such things? Doesn't sound very 'liberal' to me.
    ======================...

    Liberal's opinion, speach and action is function of coordinates of where liberal is located at each given moment
    In other words
    Liberal = Fn(x,y,z)
    substitute x y z with actual coordinates of liberal in his kitchen, liberal at public place, liberal at work place and liberal at elected office
    and find out what things liberal will do

    You all talk like it was Obama who ran up the deficit. Who decided to send the army to Iraq because they were responsible for 911?
    ======================...
    this was neither implicit or explicit reason.
    there a few other pieces of misinformation in your post as well
    no doubt Bob liked it
