  • Can Obama Fix the Economy? Time Is Running Out [View article]
    Speaking seriously.
Nobody can fix a 'disaster of global proportions in a year and a half'
However there was enough time at least to define root of problem and at least define general concept to solve this problem
So far Obama never moved beyond spread the wealth rhetoric (mainly quotations from Soviet sources of 1960 through 1980).
It does not take to be rocket scientist to see he is not capable of doing his current job even as doing Shift Supervisor job in bushiness operation for profit

  • Cash Hoards On The Sidelines And The Great Rotation: Old Myths Meet A New Reality [View article]
really had a hard time understanding the article and could be because i was looking for substance and the article was all semantics

While total of money is not changing, location of money is

    There are two known locations:
Location A populated by variety of class A
Location B populated by variety of class B

    How to benefit:

    Step number 1:
One needs to identify to which class he or she belongs. (It is ease).

If any of conditions below applies to you
    a. You don’t feel like you belong to class A
    b. You are trying to make sense from everything what you read in Papers or see on TV
    c. You are not cheating on your spouse
    d. Never had memory lapses
    e. Never was a public servant or GS employee

====> You are in B location

    Step number 2:
One needs to find where money is and where is stock. (It is ease).
Talk to people around you, ask what they have money or stock

    Step number 3
If B is full of stock =============> Sell
    If fifty/fifty =============> Hold
    Else buy

You all talk like it was Obama who ran up the deficit. Who decided to send the army to Iraq because they were responsible for 911?
this was neither implicit or explicit reason.
there a few other pieces of misinformation in your post as well
    no doubt Bob liked it

  • Is The Market Teetering At The Edge Of A Cliff? [View article]
Yeah yeah, when wealth flows to the top it's "capitalism", but when it flows everywhere else it's "class warfare".

When wealth flows to the top, it is capitalism
When it flows everywhere else it is loss of wealth

    True concept is simple
Thievery is hiding behind many words

When taxation becomes tool of wealth redistribution, thief becomes ruler, reach becomes friend of thief and poor becomes poor forever

  • For Nomura, the most troubling part of today's NFP report is the 34K decline seen in retail jobs, which follows February's 29K decline. The firm doesn't think the losses, which contrast sharply with March's healthy same-store sales data, can be explained by weather, and thinks they make April 16's retail sales report especially important. Could high gas prices be responsible?  [View news story]
    Stone Fox Capital
Not to mention, most people that struggled from high gas prices back in 2008 have now switched to more fuel efficient vehicles.
Now they have to pay hi gas prices in addition to new fuel efficient vehicles loan payments

  • Gas prices doomed Carter - will they doom Obama? Pres. Obama is the first Democrat to face down rising gas prices in an election year since Carter, but Jordan Weissmann says he has advantages his predecessor didn't: the U.S. isn't fighting inflation, fewer regulations on selling gasoline, Iran (probably) won't stop selling oil, and we're used to expensive gas by now.  [View news story]

  • "The greatest threat to the euro is the bailout fund itself," says Richard Sulik, the leader of Slovakia's SaS party that is attempting to vote down EFSF expansion. "It's an attempt to use fresh debt to solve the debt crisis," he continues. "It's ridiculous how politicians orient themselves based on whether stock prices rise or fall a few percentage points." (previous)  [View news story]
A few years back, we survived an economic crisis. With great effort and tough reforms, we put it behind us. Today, Slovakia has the lowest average salaries in the euro zone. How am I supposed to explain to people that they are going to have to pay a higher value-added tax (VAT) so that Greeks can get pensions three times as high as the ones in Slovakia?

  • Even with 9.1% unemployment, Siemens (SI) says it is still having a hard time filling 3,000 jobs in the U.S. "If you go to our factories in Germany, the guys on the floor can read engineering drawings." But in the U.S., most workers lack the education and training needed to "operate in a modern, competitive manufacturing environment."  [View news story]
You're killing me! Why don't you try paying skilled American workers the wages and benefits that the Germans pay their workers?
Skilled American workers are paid better than skilled German workers
Siemens has several factories in Bay Area and some position filled by Germans.

Germans in America are paid the same as Americans and both are paid more than they would be paid in Germany

If one completes 4 year collage in Liberal arts, it does not qualify this someone as skilled hi tech worker.
Especially, if this someone has trouble adding single digit positive to single digit negative number. I am not talking here about reading drawings

Skills gained not by wages and benefits.
but skills gained by hard work and proper education

  • The underlying message of the Wall Street protests is something the big banks and corporate America may finally have to grapple with before it becomes dangerous: accountability for unchecked power and greed. They're the "Tea Party with brains" - but what do they want in capitalism's place?  [View news story]
    Rocco Pendola
    Tea party with brains...
I wish I would have thought of that.
If my memories are correct, tea party movement also was called by left leaning folks as racists, tea beggars and astroturf®
    Now think about

    Racists with brain
    Tea beggars with brain
    Astroturf® with brain

  • Pres. Obama's "original sin" is his "failure to demand a reckoning from the moneyed interests who brought the economy down," Frank Rich asserts - a simple explanation for the current troubles but not accurate, Derek Thompson counters. "Unemployment suffers today not because of, but independent of, Wall Street's success. That is the simple, boring truth."  [View news story]
Unemployment suffers because these greedy corporations sent jobs to overseas
Europe and Asia gets one month of vacation right after starting a new job.
In summary these greedy corporation are shipping jobs with vacations

  • Pres. Obama today: "I think it would be hard for the Republicans to stand there and say that tax breaks for corporate jets [are] sufficiently important that we're not willing to... get a deal done." John Boehner: "His administration has been burying our kids and grandkids in new debt and offered no plan to rein in spending." Does this sound like two sides coming together toward a debt ceiling deal?  [View news story]
to 'foul defacer of God's handiwork.'

why would anyone call themselves "TrueConservative" and "we republicans" while being none.

why not promote own ideas instead of misrepresenting ideas of others

  • Remember when the White House promised to roll back regulatory burdens on the private sector? Facts speak louder than words: Since March 2010, federal regulatory agency employment has jumped more than 5%, while private jobs have grown just 1.5%. Maybe all the regulatory hires are for folks to cut red tape?  [View news story]
Not all regulation is bad. For example....
Is this true we need more new regulators as quality control over the bad things that old regulator might do

Is this true it takes 5 regulators to turn light bulb in.

Is this true that 15 min or less call to GEICO can save you 15% or more
