It's not the chips that make the iPhone and iPad great. It's the software. Nobody is buying mobile computing products based on the tech specs of the CPU.

Remember too, that Intel has a large fab in Arizona, and Apple isn't using Intel chips in its mobile products. There could be some political shenanigans going on as a result.

Do you really pay your taxes? Do you overpay voluntarily? Are you entitled to a mortgage interest deduction? If so, just don't take it next year and pay the extra tax. Go ahead and do it.

iOS already provides secure communication, without having to be routed through Canada, and it provides on top-quality hardware. Android not so much, but it's popular anyway. Why would a company want to spend thousands (millions) of dollars buying redundant hardware? Their employees already have phones.
