....After the news broke this week of its dividend frequency policy change, could you please add AGNC to your list? WHLR also pays monthly. Thank you.

  • Get Paid While You Sleep: REITs That Pay Monthly [View article]
    Brad:

Thank you for adding ORC to your monthly mREIT tracker list. Its management aside, the stock remains relatively stable and offers a robust dividend yield unmatched by its monthly-paying peers. I hope the great streak continues long after the Fed ends QE3 next month.

Do you have any plans to research JMI and OAKS going forward? The yield for both is similarly in double-digits. JMI recently sold off after due to another contributer's mention of JMI not being able to cover its Q2 dividends, but it maintained its high dividend throughout Q3.

    Thank you.

  • The Rockefeller REITs, The Ones That Pay Monthly [View article]
Brad, is it your goal to identify all monthly dividend paying REITS or only a select few? If the latter, what criteria do you use to determine if a REIT is worthy of inclusion on your list? ORC and JMI both pay monthly with yields above 12% yet neither is mentioned in your article.

  • Analysis: Lands' End has some questions marks of its own [View news story]
Can someone please elaborate on what a Land's End "spin-off" means exactly?

Would the proposed spin-off allow Land's End leadership to do as it pleases for to grow revenue, increase profits, and return equity to shareholders? OR, despite being "spun-off" and "independent," will the Land's End directors serve as a subordinate ("subsidiary") of Sears Holding Corporation and every significant move it makes must still receive Mr. Lampert's blessing?

If truly independent, there is no valid reason why the improved performance of a "spun-off" Land's End entity must continue to line the pockets of Mr. Lampert...unless Eddie elects to become a Land's End public stockholder himself.

  • An Undervalued Mortgage REIT With A Sustainable Dividend [View article]
Can someone please direct me to the financial portal that features the exact earnings per share and book value per share values used by the author to produce AGNC's Graham's number? I've looked in several places - msn money, yahoo business, marketwatch, etc. - none list a EPS of $2.46 and BVPS of $32.51 for AGNC.

    Thank you.
