I agree with all but your last sentence:

That I completely disagree with. I believe Viacom will always have the upper hand in negotiating. They actually provide a product that is differentiable. (Ex. No one else has a Daily Show) The only way that Google would have the upper hand is if they became the only channel for distributing video content over the internet. However, Viacom is currently streaming clips from its own website so I don't see that happening.
Just my opinion. Be glad to hear what others think.
