I don't know what I did to amuse myself before I learned how to use my computer. It is a great outlet for my creativity. I have always been creative. When I was about 7 yrs. old I played with "cut outs" in a makeshift house I fashioned out of a sheet, in our back balcony. It was during the depression and we did not have enough money for real dolls and such, so I fashioned little people and furniture which I cut out of my dad's typing paper. After I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, I wanted to become an artist but I thought being a psychologist would be more lucrative and a better fit for me. I have been a school psychologist for over 45 yrs in Long Beach, CA. Now retired, I spend much of my time making craft and art projects, some of which I have sold. Not to compare myself to Steve Jobs, but I too love to be inventive. My crafts are beautiful, though too feminine for you guys out there, but in addition to their beauty they fill a need and are highly functional. I have two sons who are a blessing to me. They are both creative. My older son has been an arranger and conductor for the well known Crystal Cathedral and my younger son is adept at computers and speaks in techno language, most of which I do not understand. I have been widowed for several years. I love my iMac. Both sons taught me how to use it, we all have Mac products. I have never used any other type of computer. I started learning it when my job as a psychologist required me to write my own reports on the students whom I evaluated. I have added creative writing to my artistic endeavors and I am in the process of writing my autobiography. I enjoy creating greeting cards, I have a robust iphoto collection and I make posters and other needed art projects for the Prime Time Players, a performing group in Long Beach CA, of which I am a member. I enjoy good health for my age, for any age, in fact. It is incredible how much passion my family has for Mac products. My two sons and my daughter in law have iphones and ipad. It is funny how they skimp on meals, complain about never having enough money for essentials and yet seem to find money to buy costly Apple products. We all love Apple that much!.
