More on Emerging Market ETFs EEM vs. VWO

I've been in EEM for years. I can't remember how I heard about EEM before VWO. I like to think that I did some thorough research, but in the end it could just as easily be that I was already in other iShares and picked up EEM out of convenience. So much for being rational... :-)

International Real Estate's First ETF

I don't have a subscription to the WSJ, but I read on another blog that this ETF wasn't buying in to REITs, but rather in real estate management companies. Do you know anything about this?

Doesn't this also mean that the consequence of being right is also almost nil?

The article started off with an argument about how targeting sectors can improve returns, but you lost me with the above statement. No one is going to be right all the time, but if being either right or wrong is going to have no effect, then why not just stick to a broader index?
